I don't get having only 2 backup OL. Should have made Street inactive. He is a non factor in the passing game, and I am sure his special teams isn't a big plus.

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Cowboys will have a new swing tackle for Sunday’s game against the Giants. And he’s only been with the team less than a week.

Veteran journeyman Tony Hills, signed this week off Miami’s practice squad, will be active today, and will be the primary replacement for both tackle spots.

Jermey Parnell will start at right tackle in place of injured Doug Free (foot). The Cowboys obviously felt more comfortable with Hills over tackle Donald Hawkins, one of the seven inactive players.

On Saturday, the Cowboys waived defensive tackle Ken Bishop and filled his spot with linebacker Keith Smith, who is active and will play special teams.

Other inactives for Sunday include:

QB Dustin Vaughan
S Jakar Hamilton
LB Bruce Carter
DT Davon Coleman
DE Jack Crawford
OT Doug Free
OT Donald Hawkins

The Giants will have cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on hand for their date with their rivals from Dallas.

Rodgers-Cromartie was questionable for the game after missing the first two practices of the week because of leg and back issues that have been troubling him for the last couple of weeks. He was able to go on Friday, though, and he’s active on Sunday despite calling himself about 60 percent healthy during the week.

The Giants ruled out running back Rashad Jennings with a knee injury during the week. He’s joined on the inactive list by offensive lineman Adam Snyder, wide receiver Corey Washington, offensive lineman Brandon Mosely, defensive tackle Jay Bromley, defensive end Kerry Wynn and tackle James Brewer.

Right tackle Doug Free is out for the Cowboys with a foot injury and linebacker Bruce Carter has missed the last couple of games with a thigh injury. Defensive end Jack Crawford, quarterback Dustin Vaughan, safety Jakar Hamilton, defensive tackle Davon Coleman and tackle Donald Hawkins.

That's what they've done every week.

Street has been playing more snaps than most people realize. They use him to block or on decoy routes.
