McCarthy said entering the season that our RBs were going to be asked to block a lot. Deuce is too small to be an effective blocker, which is one big reason he doesn’t get playing time. Another big reason he’s been inactive a number of times this season is because he doesn’t play special teams other than as a returner. He’s very limited as to how you can use him. He’s been a wasted roster spot.

Deuce will get some playing time once our playoff position is set. Maybe also M. Bryant.

Our playoff position likely won’t be set until week 18. At the very least we’ll be playing for seeding. We need to finish the season strong if we want to have any chance in the playoffs. I don’t think Deuce we’ll see much playing time the rest of the season, unless we suffer a rash of injuries at RB or Turpin is injured. He would’ve had some opportunities in these blowout wins, but he’s been inactive.

I agree. I hate they made Brooks inactive, but I like that they are testing players in game situations that you may need to rely on at some point late in the season or post-season.

I didn't understand why they drafted this guy in the first place. 7th round though, just not enough to keep him on the roster IMO.
