the only way they extend Dak will be in order to sign Ceedee and Micah. Not to sign any free agents. Thats how they think. Translation, they will feel no need to solve the real issues in the trenches because hey we have the stars signed, so we all good. Keeps us relevant til we get beat again.

The problem isn't in the trenches, the problem is right behind the trench. The center to be exact, well a few yards behind him because he can't pass from under center.

What's the plan....give Dak nothing to work with so he puts up mediocre numbers to sign him at $55M instead of $60M?

If there really have been no talks but they want to get a deal done in August as some have suggested fans should boycott. It would be a total slap in the face to fans to sit out free agency blaming Dak's contract, only to turn around and not even attempt to address the problem until after free agency is over so Jerry doesn't have to spend money.

Of course a deal gets done. Jerry isn’t letting go of the dream, just like he wanted to be right about Garrett and held onto that dream for as long as he had to.

Dak whether we want or don’t want him to leave the team is going nowhere which makes not being aggressive this offseason even dumber.

This is the exact timeline we are on my friend, this place is gonna form into voltron with people who are pissed daks coming back and people who are pissed they didn’t get a deal done proactively to free up money and make the team better.

This would be dumb. So you didn't extend a guy who needs all the help he can get during free agency but you are going to extend him now after that ship has sailed?

All that will do is give you an overpriced average QB who will be killing your cap even more in 5 years.
