I wish I could "like" this post twice. Its a very reasonable point of view, but it was directed at someone who probably won't listen to what you are trying to tell him, so it is a waste of effort from that standpoint .... but very good post.
Thanks. Believe me not trying to anoint Prescott at this stage. lol The kid has some good skill sets that I think can translate into the NFL but that is not what will make him an NFL QB as has been said by many others over the years it is the 6 inches between the ears that will make or break a guy. He has to be able to handle a defense, to make the read, make the quick decision and put the ball where it needs to go. He has to deal with coming back after a bad play or a bad game something Romo has been great at he gets up, dust himself off and comes right back at you no hesitation. Making mistakes does and will happen how you react after a mistake goes a long way and then finally dealing with the outside pressures that come with the job when everyone is quick to tell you that you can't do it and do not belong. This is also something Romo has excelled out when for much of his career people have nit picked him to death.
If it was all about just the physical part most of these guys would make it but it is the other side of it that is the big difference in my view it is what makes you or breaks you in this league.
Does Dak have that mental makeup? I guess we are about to find out. I hope he can
