Cowboys legend DeMarcus Lawrence tells Jori Epstein this will be his last season

Not a legend and I don’t miss him. Dallas was certainly not the environment to harness his on the field play. Jerry had no choice and had to give him a huge deal. Paid like an elite pass rusher, but was really just a glorified Tony Tolbert.

Some of the stuff he pulled while here was over the top.

Very unlikeable for me. Very overpaid, so they ended up extending him for a bit under market to make themselves feel as if things evened out a bit, plus blown draft picks didn’t allow them to move on when they very much should have.

Lawrence sealed the Edge for the most part and could get to the QB . Foot injuries took him out of stretches and it’s a good idea to make one last SB run with the capable Seahawks then hang it up .
Drafted and paid to get the QB. Sealed the edge instead.

Legendary? From tired to legendary
It is interesting though how everyone dogged him for his comment and it obviously had no effect on Seattle. A winning franchise is a winning franchise. Seattle has gone to several Super Bowls since our Boys last sniffed one. And they used to have a choker or bad team tag even worse than our squad. We think as fans it's deflating to watch all these Playoff chokes, but the players are humans too. Someone like Tank who has gone through 10 years of the nonsense.... Heck, I would call it quits and find another team to win a ring too!
