Its not bitter...just being level headed. If I was bitter, I'd swing full on "This team will never win anything and is trash". I havent done that.

Hopefully they'll rest and limit more play from our starters in Philly. I certainly don't see anything else we have to prove.

it isnt about proving anything it is about the mental state , get another win, and look good doing it,
will help the players mentally for playoffs.
much better than not playing, or not playing good, and losing is just never good.

38-35 last second field goal to win against a 6-10 team and a loss to an 8-8 team is not "domination for the entire game" over the last 3 games (which I used since you posted 3 wrong scores)...

they dominated 4 out of their last 12 regular season quarters against teams with losing records...

That was your quote, that was your statement. I did not make those words up. So no your point does not still stand. In two games over that span they were outscored 55-51 against teams with a combined 14-18 record. Unless that is your definition of total domination, in which case I apologize for the misunderstanding.

67 yards rushing in a game is now "horrific"?

The Lions average 22 points a game... they scored 21, the Lions average 83 yards rushing a game... they ran for 90, the Lions throw for 261 yards a game... they passed for 260.

The Lions defense gives up 22 points a game... we scored 42, they give up 103 yards rushing a game... we ran for 164, they give up 236 passing yards a game... we passed for 222.

This isn't a 4-10 team we played. This was a team that HAD to win last night and we held them at or below their season averages with a banged up defense. That defense shut them out in the 2nd half and forced two turnovers with 4 sacks. The "bend don't break" defense didn't even bend in the 4th quarter when Detroit was playing for the playoffs.

Was it perfect, no. Sure there are things they can and will clean up. Was it "horrific"? C'mon man.

Let me know when we are outscored 55-51 in two games by teams with losing records this year back-to-back while trying to be "playoff ready". I will be waiting for that "total domination of an entire game" thing you laid out and conveniently and continually gloss over.
