Twitter: Cowboys looking at being top scoring offense 2 years in a row

Especially if we take the boards word for how Dak is a 10-15 QB at best, CD isn't a true #1 and we have no #2, the OL is weak at C and LG, Zeke is slow and can't do anything, and Shultz is a JAG.

According to this board all of our players suck and Moore is horrid. Pretty incredible they managed to score the most points two seasons in a row.

So did any of these other top scoring offenses lose their starting quarterback for 5-6 weeks?
Yet Dallas needs less than a 40-burger to surpass Kansas City. The Cowboys were near the bottom of many offensive categories after the Philly loss in October. In 11 weeks, Dallas might be at the summit of many of them.
Credit Kellen Moore and Dak (despite his interceptions).

Honestly, how dumb does someone sound when they nit pick about selective play calling when the guy has orchestrated the #1 offense in the NFL the last 2 years. 3 years with Dak under center.

Thats almost as dumb as some fans continuing to claim that Zeke is a better back than Pollard.
Zeke is better than Pollard but not by much and that is a good thing

Dak is nowhere an elite quarterback. Moore cannot call plays and is so predicable because I can pick run/pass and get it right half the time. Lamb is not mature enough to be WR1. We are never going to be able to overcome the loss of Cooper. Zeke is washed up. There is no way we can overcome injuries to our starting OT. Biadasz and McGovern are JAGs.
Wow just wow lmao

I understand the frustration - we're all starving for playoff success. But to basically say everyone involved with a top 5 scoring offense sucks seems irrational.

Let's hope for some playoff success this season.

Pretty sure he's just making a laundry list observation of everything he's seen stated on this board.

Yeah,
the best are the Dak cousins randomly saying poor oline, weak receiver talent, washed up Zeke and this year's pre determined scapegoat "It's all Kellen's fault" all the while leading a #1 ranked offense. The contradiction is laughable.
With the QB having to overcome such extreme personnel and coaching deficiencies he should definitely be in the MVP race I tell ya.
Standard Zone mentality at this point I guess.
It's entertaining.

KC has 496 points after yesterday.

Dallas needs to score 36 points today to pass KC and be the top scoring team.

Philadelphia needs to score 42 points today to pass KC.

Irrelevant as everything else is unless it is successfully transposed to the playoffs.

Old enough to remember Air Coryell. And they never sniffed a SB.

the 2007 Pats set all sorts of offensive records.
No ring.

Dan Marino rewrote the passing records. No ring.

So color me unimpressed

I want this team to become the best in a category where they don’t keep stats: Mental and physical toughness. Because those kind of teams are the ones who win playoff games.

I think there will be at least 5 HC position open in the NFL and frankly would not be shocked to see Moore hired by someone. Myself I like him and think he has done a pretty good job. He has been OC since 2019 and all but 1 season when Dak was injured this team has been amongst the leaders in offense if not #1 in offense.

This is true. But most of our fans are too lame to understand how good Moore has been.

Yep, for the stat keepers:
With 2 TD passes today Kirk Cousins would become only the 7th NFL QB to pass for more than 4,000 yds and 30 TDs in 3 consecutive seasons.
The other 6? Brady, Brees, Mahomes, P. Manning, Marino and Allen.
Update: the coaching staff pulled him to avoid injury for the playoffs. He fell one short.

I just find it funny cuz a lot of Zoners compare Cousins and Dak. Good to great stats and no playoff success.
