Major vote of confidence for Wright. Week 18 and they are looking for an upgrade on the street
I don’t care that Wright got an interception, the dude is garbage. Maybe he could develop later but he’s a practice squad guy at best right now. Put in Mullen, at least he’s got starting experience on the outside. This shouldn’t be a hard choice. Diggs, Bland, Mullen, and Alexander are probably your top 4 corners right now.

This is what happens when you miss in the draft. Spend to top 100 picks and neither have shown starting material. You can rest assure, this will be the team's #1 need in the off-season.

Wright is improving. Bland has been lights out and is only going to be better with more experience. Cowboys have good talent at CB in their practice squad. They should make room for them and let them play this Sunday at Washington in order to get a good view of who they might carry with them into the playoffs.

QUESTION: Do playoff teams get to carry extra players with them?

No, I do not think they do, but, given that we cut James Washington, it would make sense to add a CB that way.

I would put a heavy dose of Bland, Alexander and Mullen tomorrow at Washington. They have 3 legit receivers in McLaurin, Samuel, Dotson. Will be a great task as the Bucs have a great group of receivers.

Definitely, and I'd have Wright as my 4th corner. I think he does have potential, but he is raw. I think he needs more experience and to learn from vets. We have a few at CB in Alexander.

I forgot about Alexander...another guy that played high school ball in this area. He was here around the same time as Jayron and of course both played at Clemson. Hopefully he can add a little stability. I still think I'd kick the tires on Rhodes to see if there is anything left. I know Brown is down for the year, does Lewis also have no chance of returning?
