I understand your point, and I wasn't attempting to belittle Murray at all, I just don't think he's the same caliber of RB as the others he was mentioned with. I'm glad Murray was a Cowboy, and he was a great teammate and a very good RB, but not a great RB, IMO.

I don't understand how our fans can love some guys and hate other guys.

Murray did as much as any other RB we have ever had and he is hated around here.

People still defend letting him go because of the money and some even say he isn't any good.

The implosion of the RBBC should have sealed the argument but fans want to double down on the failed plan to save money over putting the best players on the field.

Are you glad we saved 2.5m against the cap this year? How many wins is that worth?

He did last year against a tougher D.

No one on the Cowboys this year could hold Murray's jock.

3 3s don't equal a 9.

Murray had Romo and Dez in the lineup. You think that doesn't help the run game. What has Murray done this year to impress yo,u and what makes you think that if Murray was still here we would of won some of these games?

Again, if you think I hate Murray, you're just wrong and for those that hate him, I don't understand it, either. If we don't have Murray, we may not even get to the playoffs last year. Do I wish we still had him? Absolutely! As for letting him go because of cap $, none of us will ever really know with certainty whether that was a prudent move, because we will never know what he would have accomplished had he stayed in Dallas. We can only go by what he accomplishes in this year and in the coming years. I understand both sides of that argument...both sides have valid points, IMO. All that said, my original point was related to his place in Cowboys history and that, too, is debatable.

McFadden got 64 yds on 20 carries and needed an IV to get thru the first half.

Our backup isn't sure what team or planet he is on.

We just signed a 5'8" RB off of the Commanders practice squad to our active roster.

That is not anywhere close to 'fine'.

Not happy with the FO either for the way they have handled the RB position, but Williams was signed to play Dunbar's role. Williams may be the best option at returner on ST as well. Watched Trey Williams in college, he will be a surprise to many. If Cowboys let him return punts, he could make an impact immediately.
