Miles Austin was undrafted if I remember correctly. Terry Glenn and TO were a good 1A and 1B tandem when they were on the field together.
still counts Austin was brought in by this teams staff ie evaluated..

Add these guys to Amari Cooper, I guess. At this point, any of them would be an upgrade.

Source - Rotoworld.

But, but, but - we like our JAG WR’s. They know we know they screwed the pooch in getting Dak help. Idiots.

here we go (just to catch everyone up):

Cooper, Parker, Pryor, Sanders, Benjamin....not to mention, Dez and now we have Butler.....

what else we got - this FO is just a BEVY of moves away from having the best WR corp in the business!!!!

well not true I guess if you say drafting but they drafted Jimmy Smith and Willy Jackson they should have kept them both big mistake letting them go, they drafted Miles Austin, Antonio Bryant as well, both good players AB was bonehead but he had PB talent for sure. you are saying Dez was mistake? you are flippin crazy bro..

Really, you proved my point. I said WR evaluation, not drafting. Jimmy Smith was pretty good but, he didn't last that long. I don't think Miles or Antonio were all that good. Serviceable yes.

What does all of this tell you?

That the front office botched the WR position. They blew FA, they let solid options like Gordon go by without even blinking and now they are scrambling.

The diehards can wax on about how good they think we draft but overall, when it comes to FA and roster construction, there are some serious questions.

And I bet when Gordon was available, Stephen and Jerry were still convinced their WRs were good enough. Always a day late, dollar short with those two making decisions.

Fools.

True but he can fill the role of run down the sideline and try to get the jump ball..

They are trying to replace Dez.
In theory based on skill set. But he is an absolute pile of trash at this point. Complete waste of talent

But I thought from posts here that WR isn't an issue.

he is Jacksonville all time leader in catches he was great.. problem is we put him up for expansion it was bad gamble and we lost him.. we drafted him he was evaluated, in hindsight they kicked themselves because soon after MI got hurt in philly to never play again.. imagine what JS would have done here, maybe no reaching for those crazy WR trades..

The best part? The most likely outcome is probably that nothing happens. :muttley:
