Cowboys looking into Kelvin Benjamin and Devante Parker

I might be in the minority but I wouldn't be against Benjamin. What I almost said in the Cooper thread was that the Cowboys need a big'un at receiver and Benjamin would fit that bill. I don't think we'd get him for going deep, we'd get him to be that big, possession receiver who can make the contested catch over the middle for 8 to 12 yards. Think of him as higher level tight end and I think he makes sense if the Cowboys are seeing it that way.

Think about it. We aren't chucking it deep anyway and our 1 deep threat is on the shelf. We need to excel at small ball because we have to so I'd pull the trigger on Benjamin at the right price.

Cowboys are looking for any kind of upgrade that makes sense value-wise, while the fans are looking for a mesiah.

They will evaluate these guys, look at value, and analyze their contracts. If everything represents an upgrade at a value then they will do something. You are not going to find the next #88 in this group.....That happens in next years draft.

But man, he’s had bad QB play in his career. Dak Prescott is NOT what this guy needs.

agree 100%. Benjamin is a freak of nature and he looks like a HS Sr playing against JR high kids as far as size . I would LOVE to get the guy if we had a QB that could get him the ball. Once again, what good is it for us to give up draft picks to get a WR when we simply dont have the qb to throw ANY WR the ball down the field?????

He’s the best of the bunch but similar to Dez. If I remember correctly, they both signed nearly identical deals 10 minutes apart and both have been disappointments.
