No, you're just hungry for tacos. Go to the local taco joint and all your worries will disappear. Mazi Smith looks like he will be a very good player doing what big DTs are supposed to do. He will never be a sack machine, but he will be double-teamed and push the pocket and allow others to make plays.
That's what you expect from a round 2-3 pick, not a 1st rounder.

Quick off the ball, but stands up, losing the leverage battle. The slow off the ball thingie is not correct.

Lots of work, but this guy has the potential to be freaky good.
Based on preseason games he was very slow off the ball.

There is not much difference between a late 1st round pick and an early 3rd round pick in many drafts. Also, it depends on the position.

Surely, you are not expecting a 337-pound DL to get a lot of sacks. It doesn't work that way. I can't think of one DL at 340 pounds with a lot of sacks. 340-Pounders are to stop the run, push the pocket, get double-teamed, and allow the others to get on the highlight reel.

This board is hilarious. Judging Mazi after his 1st game. Unbelievable.
Maybe some have done that. Others just want a breakdown of how he did in his first game. I don’t see the problem with either faction, in light of the fact that they are merely fans.

I have high hopes for him, and was hoping to hear some positives, in case you are wondering what camp I am in. Not everyone here has some ulterior motive.
