Cowboys Micah Parsons talking about having an active voice on social media.

I am older, and by the way, you are doing the same thing, so keep it to yourself, this is about the man child, not me or you.
riiiight. i'm doing the same thing because who cares. the hypocrisy would be if while doing the same thing i derided another "grown man" for doing similar. with me?

Maybe, maybe not. if so he probably should have thought it through a bit more and not compared it to behaviors that can be seen as problematic, like drinking and smoking.
That's why I say that. He was comparing it to those to show that those things would be a problem, not tweeting.

So what makes him a "man child"? Posting on social media? (Which you're doing right now) or commenting about about other people? (Which you're also doing right now)

I have my reasons for calling him a man child, you have your reasons for loving him. You sure are upset that I call him that, Why is that?

If it was just one person telling him about it? OK.

But since it’s many people telling him about it? Maybe it’s an actual problem and something to reconsider?
Many people have opinions about any number of things. Around here we criticize players haircuts.

Yeah, a supposed grown up man loves to "tweet" like a damn 12 year old girl.

By the way, I really do not like this player, fake fool.
Lol

You have 35 thousand!!! posts on social media about he Cowboys.

He’s got a long ways to gob before he touches your level of commitment.

Yeah, I've been on this forum for years and years.

There are two players that I do not like, little Micah and Dak. The rest are alright except those two.

But, you are nicer than me, so...

So if a bunch of people mentioned a specific thing that you did that they weren’t happy about, you’d just keep doing it?

Weird how people on a message board are attacking other people who are on a message board for being on it to stick up for a player who can't stop and says stupid stuff daily. No one on here is getting paid millions to play for the Cowboys. Therein lies the difference. He's acting like it doesn't affect his game but the guy is better at Twitter than showing up in a critical game.

None of us on this platform are a public figure that has a brand that's instantly recognized like Micah. Nobody gives a crap about what we post. But in his case, everything he says matters. He gets millions of dollars to do a job, so expectations and ridicule are Standard. Knowing that, is it in his best interest or the teams, to have him on those social media outlets so much? Seems to me the negatives outweigh the benefits. Maturity, unselfishness must take over. Opinions are many times best if kept private. Team first over feelings.

The last thing you said is fire.

I guess that depends on what it is I’m doing.

If I’m driving drunk every weekend, then I’d like to think I would recognize important advice and act on it.

If my “fans” are telling me how often I should engage in social media, then hell no. I’m going to do what I want.

The way some fans are clutching pearls over this man’s social media presence silly and hypocritical to say the least.

Let the man live his life. If you disagree with him, hell, tweet him back.

MICAH!!!!! Shut the ***K UP and just play ball! Everyone talks about how great you are and when your mind is right you are one of the top 3 rushers in the league, but when your not focused as in the last half of the season when you were dogging it on 50% of the plays, you're average at best! Let your play do the talking!

As much as i dont like the guy i have to admit i feel sad for him.

The guy needs someone to talk to but - and i can understand that - nobody wants to listen to him. He has essentially nothing to say. If not his parents who would listen to the crap he has to offer?

So what should he do to get the stuff out of his head?

Put it out there in the anonymous space.

As i already said. I feel sad for him.
SAD??? From what I can tell, his Mom, Uncles, Aunts plus, plus have all moved to Dallas to give him a support group along with him being a father of a 4 year old little boy! Micah needs one thing, to grow up! It happens to most everyone, some later, some sooner but he has the American Dream so he should embrace it, thank God for his amazing talent, play hard and take care of his family! His podcast is a joke and it only makes him look very young and very foolish.

I think you didnt understand my sarcasm.

I am with you about him. Maybe not 100%. I think he is flat out stupid not young or foolish. The guy will be 26 in 3 months. I think you can expect a grown up and educated behaviour from such a person.
Of course i know there are people even 50 years old who behave and have an educational level of 16 years old: Just look at Dez Bryant for example.

Thats just one reason why i wonder why anybody would follow his tweets or his podcast. He has nothing to say.
But then when you look at a-social media for every stupid guy there seem to be 1000 even more brainless followers who rah rah about the crap he just tweeted.

Michael Irvin had a talk show during the season too no one said anything back then. People just like to hate and stir the pot for their own narrative.
