Part of the issue with the statement is his “as long as I’m performing that way”….well you disappear in big games my man. So maybe with all the people saying it there is fire with that smoke.

I really wish more would more - especially the media - would talk about this. Yes he’s a beast in the regular season, particularly on lower level comp. But when you have your worst games in the biggest games, that’s a problem.

That's why I say that. He was comparing it to those to show that those things would be a problem, not tweeting.

Ok. I can understand the reasoning. The problem is, it makes just as much sense to reason that pointing to worse behaviors is intended to make his behavior less bad in comparison.

Neither of us know the truth and either of us could be right. Putting out that kind of ambiguity is going to draw negative attention. His tweet is a response to that very negative attention.

I honestly couldn't care less if he social medias or not. As an interested observer though it is undeniable that it is bringing negative attention to him and the organization and a cost/benefit analysis doesn't seem like a bad thing to do.

The problem is he doesn’t like to practice, doesn’t want to watch film, doesn’t want to show for voluntary workouts etc, so he’s leading in the wrong direction. Plus playing defense is more than just getting sacks. No one cares we were 3rd in sacks when we gave up the second most points in the nfl. Garnering sacks doesn’t mean you are leading a good defense clearly.

shut the hell up Micah....99% of the athletes don't drink, and they take care of their bodies. its their investment into their future, so don't tell me about not drinking or this and that. that's to be expected. that's the minimum.

you pay too much attention to your podcase and social media. instead of film study. I was listening to a video of a player who was talking about watching tom Brady film, for hours and hours until he saw a little something he did that tipped off when they snap the ball....and the next game, the defense just dominated them. sacked him 5 times, pressured relentlessly...

its watching film and picking up little cues...its watching film and learning habits of opposition. its watching film and picking up little nueances....so yes, when you jump offside, it would perhaps not happen if you watched more film and pick up something that would tip you instead of guessing the snap!!!

I am starting to dislike Parsons a lot and wish we would trade him. but knowing how many jerseys he sells, no way jerry would do that!!!

parsons....you are not 100% committed!!! Winning is not all for you..... and that's the only way you ever win championships.

it's not just about social media and the Internet ,​

it's not about what used to be for many, something they picked up later in life, this generation of players were born with a phone in their hand. I know most of us didn't have mobile phones until we were like me they came out when in my early 20s. Social media the Internet it didn't take off for a lot of us until we were older adults, and now it's a part of most of our everyday lives.. this place is considered social media, and you all are hypocrites for saying the man shouldn't speak, if he wants to it's not like he's causing trouble, most of the time he's just feels like he wants to engage and stay engaged..​

But again these generations of players probably at four years old or five years old had a phone in their hand, they were playing with apps and the Internet, and some of them picked it up and really liked it and then they have become content creators or became podcasters or whatever it is you want to call them and it's just normal now..

you all think it's a distraction but for him it's everyday life..

again as long as he's not causing trouble and he's doing his work, and you're trying to tell me that this is getting in the way of him working out, staying in shape ,being the best he can...

I doubt that, all of us have jobs or careers ,and then we also have activities, hobbies, things that we do to decompress, and this is his...

If anyone can prove this, let me know ,but I doubt it's getting in the way of his career...​

And please don't come back with anything more than this TJ Watt 0-4 1 sack in the playoffs.. So you're saying that even Mr. we should never have passed up on guy can't help his team win a game and only has one sack in four games how dare he.lol .

how about mr 40M Garett 1-2 playoffs 1 sack in 3 games OMG should never have been paid.. This team also has never won a division since 1989 but he hasn't changed that but somehow his team handed him $40 million and he was just talking crap about his own team said they suck they're not about winning he wanted to be traded and all it took was a little money to shut him up..

Joey Bosa- i believe 1-3, 2 sacks

how dare he I mean these guys are all allegedly in similar talent levels they're being looked at as some of the best pass rushers in the NFL some of you guys believe are better than Parsons and then we go look at the stats somehow again just like quarterbacks are blamed for a lot of things especially playoff records you're picking out an individual who is one of the best on your team for Bing game plan for and taken out of games and then the rest of the team is expected to step up and they don't that's what we're talking about for like guys like lamb you know he's Batman he needs his Robin but he almost never has one I mean our run game always seems to be lacking in something whether it's the line or the scheme but we blame the running back but really it's something else.

This will forever be a team game and we saw the impact that he has on us yes it was in a losing season last year but when he was out this defense didn't look good when he came back all of a sudden he elevated the entire defense you know why because we had a guy on the team at the time and over shown that fully took advantage and together they were creating havoc last year until Overshown got hurt...

I'll go take a look at some of the teams that have built their defense like all in with the whole line is really good they have multiple players like San Francisco nick bosa looks like the best pass rusher of all time when you look at his playoff stats but I had more to do with the team made sure they couldn't take him out of the game without somebody else destroying the game...

We saw that with the eagles last year some of these guys like young pass rushers all of a sudden look great Like Carter, yeah you put Parsons on that line and find out what he can really do...

When you're the sole focus any game plan and they find a way to stop you and the team didn't do anything to make sure they would pay for that somewhere else on that line that is not on Parsons that's what's happening yes they can take him out of the game by running at him bringing two to three guys into his area as blockers and just wear them out they're not gonna give him the opportunity but somebody else has to step up...
