Was this one really not posted yet? I can't imagine anyone having a problem with any of these four all-time greats, but if anyone disagrees, feel free to let me know about it.

Jerry Jones: Probably the most controversial of our choices, especially if you consider this club's run of mediocrity since the mid 1990s. But do the Cowboys win three Super Bowls in the 1990s without Jones? He botched the handling of Landry's firing, but he hired Jimmy Johnson as his replacement and watched the team transform back into a champion. He isn't on here as a GM. He's on this monument as an owner.

Without looking, I was thinking Landry, Staubach, Lilly, and Smith.

Hard to make a case that Jones has done more for the team or the league than Schramm.

So...you wouldn't replace Bob Lilly with Jerry Jones? :)

I think Richard Durrett wants to be the next Mickey Spagnola.

I'm for working on ways to prevent there even being a next Mickey Spagnola.

I think you could definitely make that argument.

Like it or not, Jerry was one of the main reasons this team won 3 super bowls in the 90s.

I gotta go with the guy who turned an expansion team into America's Team, and who made the NFL TV friendly.

Daryl Clack, Vince Albritton, Bob White, and Cornell Burbage.

In particular Burbage deserves his place in the Cowboy's Mt. Rushmore for his inspiring play for the New Jersey Knights of the World League. The heart of a champion I tell you....

One reason why I never posted it is because we'd already had a long thread about it. So I thought it'd simply be a re-post. I found it funny that no sooner than we'd had our fun with the Cowboys Mt. Rushmore than PFT began it's series of Team Mt. Rushmores and then other outlets picked it up.

Landry, Roger, Emmitt are the no brainers - the 4th guy would be debatable.

When these things started in the past few months, it strikes me as an easy choice.

Landry, Staubach, Emmitt, Lilly.
