Cowboys Need To Call Ty Law ASAP...

When the Cowboys get smoked next week, you won't think it's so stupid.

LOL. You seriously think TY Law is the difference between a *** wooping and a victory by the Cowboys against the Giants lol? All of these players went through training camp to prepare for this season. You think Law can just come in not knowing the Phillips 3-4 and just coming right in and making an impact?

2005 with the Jets Law had 10 ints.

2006 with KC he had 4 picks

2007 with KC he had 2 picks.

Those numbers are better than anybody on the Cowboys roster right now.

How good has KC been in the last few years? They suck!

Law comes here he will have Ware, Ellis, Bradie James and Thomas in front of him. At least he has somebody to work with.

Have you watched much football? I do believe it is past your bedtime.

I don't really think the Giants are a team to smoke the Cowboys. Washington, yes, thanks to Moss, but Giants no. The problem next week is going to be stopping the run and covering Boss and Plaxico. (The real problem is going to be scoring but we are talking about the D) Plaxico is good but just does not have the speed to smoke us, though Jenkins or whoever covers him better be ready to play physical. I could be wrong because I have only caught a couple giants games this season but from what i have seen im not worried about a giants WR smoking us.

I think he can help. Look, we are now one injury away from having Brian Stewart as a starting CB.

What's wrong with adding a veteran that can add some depth. Never said Law was what he use to be but adds a little insurance.

Giants will be at least a 10 point favorite.

wow! your so grown up.

Are you comfortable with having three rookies out there? Why not add a vet to add depth?

Stop your crying. You are the one posting idiotic ideas. It's not my fault you and your friend have no idea what you are taking about.

Why don't you stop attacking other posters?

All that I am saying is adding a vet maybe wise so he can help the rookies out.

that has nothing to do with what i posted...

and really does not matter at all...

Work on your counting skills. Two rookies and a second year guy.

I'm all for adding players. Law at this point is not a nfl player. Get over it. It was a stupid post. Move on.

Ball is a second year player but I said it was as if he was a rookie because of playing time.

lol, this thread turned ugly quick.

That's because some people like to start crap when they don't like what they hear/read.

All that I was trying to say adding a vet would be wise. I don't think there is much out there so why not bring in Law for a look see. If he can play, sign him, if not, don't. Simple!

Probably more likely that Courtney Brown starts getting some run with the corners, and the team might look into bringining in someone like Quincy Butler.

Oh Boy!:bang2: No offense! If that is the route the Cowboys are sure to get crushed this week against the Giants.

Yes, Ty Law is older and may not be what he use to be but with Henry injury which IMO he will be questionable at best against the Giants, Ty Law will at least give you a veteran presence.

Our young secondary played well but after teams see some film work they may try to exploit Jenkins, Scandrick and now Ball(Nickle).

I think we can get Law cheap, relatively speaking. Law can help us get by until Newman, Henry and Adam Jones gets back.

With Giants next on the docket, it could be a long day for our young CB's if we don't get some help.

Ty Law anybody?

I am not sure what the numbers are but I don't think he will as cheap as we would probably like. According to him he wants to be "respected" when it comes to $$ terms. That's why he hasn't been signed because he is wanting more than what teams are willing to give. I haven't seen a report yet on how much he wants.

Folks, it's going to be hard to bring someone in off the street who knows the system and is in game shape.

More likely, you are hoping for a guy to help you get through the next week or two until Newman and Henry can get back.

Thanks for being respectful! See... I didn't know that. If that is the case than he may not be worth it. I appreciate the kindness.

That is all I was hoping but just found out Law may want to much money.

Darelle Reveis - we missed on that pick......

Antonio Cromartie. Taken one spot after Bobby Carpenter.

I understand we signed Henry prior to that year, but wow - thats really a kick in the head.
