Get this team the best guard on our board after the 1st round. Find a couple WRs in the rookie free agency sweepstakes. I really think that is enough. And I really do see your point but disagree that WR takes precedence over the massive swiss cheese defense Kiffin ran last season. 2014 needs new faces on the dline, inside and outside. 2014 needs another linebacker taken in the draft and might as well get the safety that Jerry has not taken early. And like I said guard is a need. Our "new found offensive line" is not complete. It will be as good as it's weakest link in 2014. Maybe we land brandon in free agency.

I never said that WR took precedence over the defense which is why I said that we should draft defense with the first three or four picks. WR should take precedence over guard, but I don't think we should leave guard alone. Leary and Bernadeau played well enough to where we shouldn't be looking for their replacements before we look for Miles Austin's (or since Williams is taking his spot, Williams' replacement) replacement. By all means, draft a guard late and develop him, but both guards played well enough to where there is no need for an immediate replacement.

It's amazing, people were begging Garrett to run the ball at the end of the season because it was more effective than passing at times. But now all of the sudden we need offensive linemen over a WR corps that (potentially) lost one of their starters?

If he's there in the 3rd I wouldn't be socked if we take him. Maybe we could trade around and get an extra 3rd rounder.

that is what we did last year. Sure beats trading away a 2nd just to move up for Morris Claiborne.

This draft is stacked with wr's....you can get a pretty good one in the middle to late rounds I bet.

Not opposed to drafting one though especially if Dez's back problem is chronic.

Who plays slot if we draft another big bodied WR? I'm all for weapons but we need a twitchy, speedy guy in the slot like Marquis Lee but we don't need to draft one in the first 5 rounds of this draft.
