I had an offer to buy a suite there, and a VIP club membership. Can't remember the cost, as I was not interested. For the cost I am better off buying more rental property.
I won't get the offer again, selling my PSL's to my seats at the stadium. Getting out of them while I can, while an offer is on the table without losing any money, but not making any either. But I am fine with that.
But I was hoping they would give us some kind of tour before it opened first.

As a member of the Frisco CVB, I received the same offer. For me it was $4,000.00. I was in until my wife said no; she does not want me hanging out there every day after I retire. I'm only five minutes away already. :(

Deluxe practice facilities, Ring of Honor statues and walk way, several restaurants, classy hotel, Cowboys museum, offices for DC HQ. This place is completely replacing VR. Yeah it will easily cost $1.5B and this is only a portion of the land that the Joneses have there to develop.

Stephen explained that currently it is around 800 million but with the acreage they have still yet to develop it eventually will reach around 1.5 billion. He also said it could end up taking 10 years to finish.

Dang the wife.......I am about 30 to 35 minutes away. 20 minutes from AT&T stadium, if that long, if I get all the lights and no traffic, less time. 7 miles.

The us navy is building a new attack submarine that we are paying $2.5 Billion dollars for.
I don't believe we ever even used the submarine it will replace to attack anything..

So I guess 1.5 billion for grown men to practice playing a kids game isn't so bad.....at least no one should die.

Imagine the cost of this if it were built in a state that mandates using union laborers.

Stephen Jones in the interview posted on dc.com stated that it was at $700 million now and would be about $1.2 billion when all is said and done.

Paid for from proceeds from PSL's from the stadium and concession stand prices......couldn't resist...part of that was from me from PSL's.

Yea it may go from 1.5 Billion to 1.8 Billion....man that would really suck if the multi billionaires were forced to share the extra 300million with the hard working local citizens and their families who are their customers. I wouldn't want the Jones family to go hungry.

US Navy subs not being needed to attack something is a good thing but god forbid you need one and don't have it.

They actually have a partnership with the Frisco ISD, so it sounds like they are trying to give back to the community.

We will never practice there. Remember, you've heard it here first.

Agreed.... I guess I would imagine the 58 we already have in the water that have never been needed would be enough in the extremely unlikely event that we suddenly have a need to attack another countries navy.

It's similar to the F35 fighters that cost $1.3 trillion.
Or the $75 Billion we are spending on the new stealth bomber. Yet the old fleet of stealth bombers have never really been used to their capacity.

Just more government choosing to prioritize the military industrial complex profits over the needs of the citizens.
If we can find money to kill people we should be able to find money to cure people as well...

Not trying to mix football and politics...

I prefer Jerry buying cowboys fans expensive new toys over killing another 200k people in Iraq with an estimated 39% of them being women and children and then wondering why a young boy who lost his mother and baby sister to a bomb grows up to hate us.

Sorry to rant...

It's going to have a 15 story 5 star hotel, parking garage, a 12,000 seat stadium, the Cowboys headquarters, training facilities, and businesses. Plus in the ESPN article it says that the team has only broken ground on 30 acres of the proposed 90 acres. The 1.5 billion price tag might be right.

Holy unnecessary expenditures, Batman!

Actual football is a footnote to Jerry.
