yeah, maybe Hunter Renfroe the recently DFA'd outfielder of my beloved Cincinnati Reds..I don't believe in Jerry doing anything substantial to help, maybe a filler and a miss out or 3 on players we wanted but unfortunately lost to a higher bidder

Yeah you’re not wrong. Sometimes the major moves backfire just as much as they can help.

IMO the cowboys should be in the market and ready to pounce if the right player comes along big name or not but the bargain bin can pay out every now and then too.

I do kind of miss the wildcatter Jerry from back in the day. Even if the Roy Williams trade backfired, badly, it was at least exciting. If we're going to continuously get booted from the playoffs by the Niners, at least make the mid-season more interesting.
