When they let Cooper and Wilson and Turner and Jarwin go, his price went up with each departure because he and his agent know there are only two receivers with any history with the QB.
Next, they play the game of pitting McKeon and Ferguson up against him and if that doesn't work, the price goes up.
Anyone making Schultz out to be the bad guy in this hasn't been paying attention to the mismanagement of this team with salaries. He's doing exactly what we would do, max out his money while he can with the salaries for receivers climbing.
