Cowboys now worth 15.5 billion

"The Cowboys estimated operating profits for 2025 were 510 million. No other NFL team had profits over 255 million."

There is no rational reason why this would be the case. The drawing power of this franchise makes no sense.
The Randy White curse is upon us. ;)

I will call BS on this. He bought the Cowboys not the Bengals. The mystique of fhe Dallas Cowboys started long before Jerry Jones. He is not the reason they are this big.
When he bought the team, they were losing 1 million dollars a month. He did play a role.

They are good at what they do. People talk talk about Jerry Jones as if he is a moron. He is anything but. What he wants isnt in line with what fans want.

Their profits skyrocketed following two years of missing the playoffs
An NFL franchise's net worth is not solely calculated by what is seen on gameday. A general summary would include:
  • National media revenue
  • Local stadium revenue
  • Premium seating and suites
  • Sponsorships and advertising
  • Stadium ownership and venue economics
  • Real estate developments
  • Market size
  • Brand strength
  • Operating profitability
^ These are real life accomplishments that, right or wrong, I, personally, attribute to Jerry Jones' business prowess. The National Football League's Dallas Cowboys franchise net worth of $15.5 billion should not label Jones as a moron at all in my opinion.

However, this is where anyone should discern the whole picture concerning this franchise. Jones oversees the management of football operations. As general manager, his franchise's overwhelmingly significant net worth is worthless in regard to the annual results of games his players and coaches win and lose on the field.

I will not label Jones a moron for the lack of NFL championship or championship competitive success since January 1996 and his eternal managerial inflexibility. For that, I call him Mad Genius instead, because that is insanity incarnate--especially after accounting for all the years utterly wasted not allowing qualified professionals opportunities to try lifting on-field accomplishments to the lofty heights of his financial achievements.

Owners and players play the game for money, fans play the game for trophy’s.

The funny thing is that people focus on the "valuation" but that is not the same as the "purchase price" ..

Given how much the value goes up every year for all NFL teams, the sell price of any NFL team would likely be 30-50% higher than their valuation price.

Guess this is why Jerry once called the valuation numbers conservative......

So we are #1 in Forbes AND Sportico. Jerry must be so proud.

The Dallas Cowboys lead the way for the seventh straight year at $15.5 billion, up 21% from 2025. The Los Angeles Rams ($12.7 billion), New York Giants ($12 billion), New England Patriots ($10.4 billion) and New York Jets ($10.35 billion) round out the top five.

IF this is true, it certainly shoots down the arguments by some fools claiming the Jones boys cannot come up with the cash to do deals.
The value of the team and the cash they have aren’t the same thing. Jerry is heavily invested in th oil and gas industry. He has cash but he’s not as liquid as say a guy invested in stocks

I remember Jerry once calling these evaluations conservative.
if you look at what he could sell the team for, they are conservative. Jerry could get more than that for the team. No team cash flows like the cowboys. He could get a couple billion more, maybe even more than that

BS. The cash is there. He can come up with $100 million right away and that was my point. He can make any deal he wants to. Those claiming some kind of cash poor BS are just plain dumb.
