While I know that the scouts go look at a bunch of guys that they'll probably never consider, looking at Garrett Graham interests me. Could Bennett have worn out his welcome?

Barbie Carpenter didn't over four years and you think a guy with twice the talent will in two? I seriously doubt it. The only way Bennett leaves the Cowboys is if someone offers the house for him. As of right now, no team would do that.

If Jerry was interested in trading Bennett he wouldn't have took shots at him like he did in his PC recently.

MB actually flashed well early in the Vikings game...before things went real south.

Hes blocked well all year too. I've also seen him open at times and Romo just passes him up.

Hes dropped some passes but he pulled a Sam Hurd in training camp and everyone thought he was going to do what Miles Austin did but as a Tight End.

Oakland would call up Al and say "we got this TE who is the most physical beast you will ever see, that means he is great at football" and ask for the first round pick.

Whose Cris Cook?

A CB from Virginia, I think.

But he seems to have the size of a FS type. Maybe one of those versatile types?

Looking at a TE *** does Garrett need 4 TE's for his offense to be successful what a joke.

I have no problem with 4 TEs on the team esp if that's the highest rated guy on your board at your pick. Phillips looks like a steady backup to me but that's it. If we can develop another starter at TE then I have no problem with that.

I'd prefer to spend picks elsewhere though esp the OL, ILB, yada.

Perhaps the Boys see him as a possible FB... NFLDS lists him as their top-ranked FB, and a likely 3rd rounder...

At 6-3, it would seem that he fits the profile for a FB more than TE...

Whose Cris Cook?

A big cornerback who played for the Virginia Cavaliers... 6-2, 210 pounds, 4.5 second 40... could project to FS in the NFL...

He missed a year because of academic problems, but this past year he was a team captain, and reportedly a mentor for younger players... he grades out as a 4th rounder at this point...

Figures you don't know that some scouts are projecting him as a FB... which is funny, since you seem to be a devotee of NFL Draft Scout (which is my favorite site as well), and they list him as their top FB prospect...

And you want us to believe you're some kind of draft guru??

Yeah, he's a regular legend in his own mind...

Which would be OK, we all have our theories, and our pet cats... but he also manages to be rudely condescending to those whose opinions don't coincide with his own...

That's why I like mocking him when he doesn't even know that a player like Graham might move to FB in the NFL... that makes it comical when he sneers about the Boys' interest in Garrett...

If the highest guy you have is at a position you have no need at all then trade or take the next highest guy. It would be STUPID to pick another RB, TE, or QB now.

I saw that but he'll most likely be a TE.

Another one? The Cowboys love University of Virginia players I guess.

Keep going to that well.

John Garrett has first hand knowledge of these UVA kids.
