The annual Cowboys lowball a star player and wait until the last possible minute to sign star player and end up making star player the highest paid player at his position.
They aren't trading him.Trading him would be the dumbest thing Dallas has done in a long time
Considering our QB pees himself in the huddle everytime we play somebody over .500 and yet still walked away with $60 million a year, Micah and his agent would laugh in your face over this proposed contract stipulation.Micah should donate a game check for Everytime he vanishes in a game. I would say in the post season, but if that were the deal he'd never donate anything. Donate a game check to his favorite charity . Make that part of his new deal. I'm not trying to hate, but I am a huge fan of this organization since 1973 and I'm so tired of the talk, the platform, the brand, and his brother piggy backing off him on social media. It's a bad look, especially when we aren't sniffing a meaningful win. I like his family but enough is enough. Let's stop moving the goal posts closer in order to make exceptions for the mediocrity. I'm praying Micah has a great year, and the team. I guess meaningful must be an ever changing term around here. Sad.
Is he 5 mil/year better than Crosby? He said he’d be happy with 40m per. That seems about right considering guys like Crosby and Hunter are making 35m per.
According to multiple current and former local Cowboys beat writers, (like Randy Galloway, Jean Jacques Taylor, David Moore) anytime there is a story leaked about the Cowboys involving contract negotiations, the source is always either Jerry or Stephen.
I think itll be 201.5m and probably 140m-150m guaranteed but roughly the right idea.5 years 200 million
180 million guaranteed.
Swear I love you haze!!!! You just made everything clear, so it's Jerry and Stephen??? I always wondered WHY wouldn't anyone get mad when "sources" are spewing out information about the team before things happens! Gosh this is just a mess, why wouldn't someone be mad that there's info being leaked. You can't be mad if it's tweedle dumb and tweedle deeAccording to multiple current and former local Cowboys beat writers, (like Randy Galloway, Jean Jacques Taylor, David Moore) anytime there is a story leaked about the Cowboys involving contract negotiations, the source is always either Jerry or Stephen.
This is the way they handle things. Drag it out. Leak “promising” headlines that favor the team that are clumsy and inappropriate. Most of the better GMs in this league talk only when deals get done instead of playing these outdated PR games.
Plus…are we to understand then that there haven’t been “meaningful” offers until now?
