after the last game it seemed like they both could be out a little longer... so I can live with this report.....
if we can survive (yes, survive) the jags, we will have two weeks to become fairly healthy.

Bye week time perfectly this year. Get through this game, somehow pull out a win.
Let's hope Bortles needs a few more weeks before he starts to settle down as a NFL QB.
Hope Marinelli pulls some stunts out and keeps him confused.

Then take 2 weeks, all get fully healthy. Go into stretch run and get on a roll.

So happy we have a bye late in the year. Really needed it. McClain is out of football shape and needs to rest up IMMEDIATELY. Murray needs a rest too. Been carrying the workload

What's more, we get a bad team, a bye, another bad team (Giants are bad), the big matchup with the Eagles, and then another 10 days off. For a team that's on the road a lot at the end of the season, that breaks things up fairly nicely for us.

The back end of our season is set up for us to do big things... we control our destiny

Bummer on Crawford, who has arguably been our best DL, but it's the right time for him to heal and it's nice to have quality reinforcements showing up as opposed to signing guys off the street like last year.

The Boys COULD have a very solid DL rotation for the playoffs.

They actually could, which is kind of crazy given all the uncertainty about the DL going into the season. A little more luck with Lawrence, maybe we upgrade the rotation at 1-tech with the return of Brent, and getting Crawford back, and we've got a lot of guys capable of playing starter's snaps, anyway.

Sitting Tyrone Crawford is much easier to do now that Henry Melton is playing a lot better. He's close to the form he had before he got hurt in Chicago.

I have read here and there people questioning McClain.....alluding to how "bad" he wants it. I think the fact that the guy suits up every week is him trying to put those rumors to bed. But that does not make it FAIR. I really want to see him rest for a few weeks. His legs look heavy. He looks like he is laboring. And he has lot's of nagging injuries. I would love to see him take a couple of weeks off.

I seen that too. Maybe use him in a limited role this week. If he can play, no reason to sit him on precaution. They won't be sitting Romo since it seems he will play.
But Ro, maybe limit his snaps though. Because you can. Can't limit room's though.
But entirely different situations too.

Couldn't agree more. At least he's been able to play. The way he plays the game makes it hard for me to believ his heart isn't in it.

Sounds like good news!

Also heard Mark Schlereth say Romo looked pretty good throwing the ball in practice and he has NO hitch in his step or throwing motion.

Actually, we do not get 10 days off after the Eagles game. We play the following Thursday night. In all honesty, we kind of get shafted after the bye- having 3 games in 12 days, 2 of which are on the road.

I believe we get Chicago on the Thursday after Thanksgiving, then the 10 day break before the next Philly game. That's not so bad.
