  1. He played LT all last season, so he should be working all camp on LG so he can have flexibility In case the situation demands it or it gets out 5 best on the field together.
  2. It may also mean that the team has great faith in Waletsco or wants to see him at LT all preseason as well as Tyron.

Ish happens sure. Doesn’t change the fact that Torrence has his feet stuck in cement.

He’ll be solid, but I don’t see anything special. Tyler Smith will be much better at LG than Torrence is.
I get it, just giving you a hard time. I guess the question is, is Schoonmaker more valuable as depth TE or Torrence more valuable as depth OL.

I’ve always believed after watching Tyler the first few weeks of last year AND some of his college tape that he could be a Pro-Bowl LT…but an ALL-PRO LG. I just think his mauler style works better inside than out - but they’re very fortunate either to have this kid.
I agree. I think by week 4-5 he will be at LT again due to injury.

Martin is a certified stud and ironman. That said, he is human. He's also 33. He will be here. Im more worried abut the swing guard behind him and who that will be. Edoga?

He is a tough eval too. His pass pro isnt as good as his stats indicated. They got the ball quick

Best OL and DL we've had in a while.
Combine that with RB, WR, and DB there's no excuse for us not to dominate.

I think it's going to be fine at the Tackle position, they not only have Tyler who can shift over but they also have the Atlanta fa and Wally. Guard depth is more of the problem behind the starters.

Tyler Smith>>>Torrence
That is probably true but it isn't really the right comparison. Who is the better player and \ or more valuable due to position between Torrence and Schoon?

Until Schoon comes out and really does something, it's a valid question of our draft selection.

I'm not saying Torrence was the best G I have ever seen or anything ... but you could plug him in and feel pretty confident he was going to block the folks in front of him. Would have also set you up nicely to have stability & flexibility on your line.

Tyler @ LG: Something everyone who follows the Cowboys knew all offseason. He was always going to be the LG this year. The only question is what happens once injuries strike and we know injuries will strike...
