So what exactly have you posted/predicted? Let's nail this down so there is no room for waffling down the road.
I’m on record saying only one team comes out of the NFCE and it it will be the Eagles not the cowboys. And after that nothing else matters does it? I’ll let you guys preform the autopsy on which part broke down first. But getting into the tournament is all that counts. And I don’t think you will.

What does that have to do with coming here and mocking a Cowboys fan for talking about Williams? By bringing up some weird argument that if he lasted until the 2nd round, he probably wont be that good?

Your lack of self awareness is pretty amazing.

Here's my work:

Points Per Game - 13th
Points Per Drive - 17th
DVOA - 25th
Opposing QB Rating - 26th
Rush Yards Per Attempt - 16th
Sacks - 15th
Interceptions - 24th
Fumbles - 15th

But yes, we were 8th in total yards, ergo, we have a Top 10 defense? LOL.

Not really.
I think these are all good pieces of the puzzle. I wouldn't ignore the 8th ranking in total yards, that's a piece, too. Good for you for doing the homework on it. I'll give you credit that you aren't just whining about how bad the defense is without some data to support your assertions - like some posters are wont to do.

I think average is about right going by the unscientific and always skeptical eye test from a year ago. I'd be curious what our ranking was the last half of 2017. Not that I expect you to do that research, and I'm probably not going to spend the time breaking that down - unless I get bored.

LMAO! The season will reveal who is aware of what. You asked a pointed question and I gave a pointed answer. Nothing else to be said.

Is Wentz the greatest qb to ever play? Is he better than an in prime Tom Brady, Payton Manning? Wonderin what Eagle fans really think about him. Curious.

It's not exactly ignoring..........it's realizing that as one piece of the puzzle it's in a very, very, very, very small minority.

I am coming to the quick conclusion that you just aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I have zero concern about the OL except for injury which is beyond control. We have decent depth. I have spent some time thinking about center but there are guys who can play there. They'll have a backup C as well as swing tackle and an extra guard and tackle.

Agreed. It's a far cry from the sieve we trotted out on the field in Romo's early years. Phil Costa. Pat McQuistan. Other dumpster diving players.

Chaz Green dropped the Cowboys ten spots during the ATL game.

Imagine Chaz Green being the best player on your OLine. That's not far from some of the lines that "protected" Romo if you can call it that.

Apparently you do. You keep responding to my posts and answering my questions.

So as I said earlier, you struggle with self awareness.
Well it wasn’t me who told another poster not to bother yet here you are still, lol. Who’s leading whom? LMAO...

I told him not to bother trying to have a real debate with you.

But for entertainment purposes, I hope you never leave.

You really didn't answer the question.

Were the Cowboys the 8th best defense in football? Not the 8th best in giving up yards. Were they 8th best defense, overall, in the NFL?

When healthy, they played like a top 10 defense. As I stated previously, the year was derailed when Zeke was suspended and the Oline was hit with injuries. It hampered what the team wanted to do and that impacted the defense as well as the offense.

Excuses. The Eagles didn't give up 8 sacks in a single game when they lost Peters. The offensive line was a turnstile.

Oh, and the Eagles only lost one of their Olinemen. As I previously stated, Dallas had to replace two starters and play without a third that missed time and was hurt all year. Maybe you haven't gotten this counting thing down just yet.

In 2017 the line was very mediocre - without Smith. Before Smith went down they were just as nasty as 2016 and we were scoring points.

I saw problems with them all season. They got their whipped in the Denver game. IMO, they never looked quite like their 2016 selves, even when we were scoring points.

The totality of stats would say you are not accurate.
