It's pretty funny that more than half of the people choosing an option that's not listed. But I understand. I really wanted to see between the two defenders Jacks and Bosa who would you like to see be a Cowboy and think he would have more success over the long haul.

So again...Jacks or Bosa (no offensive players ok).

Jack would have to blow my socks off to leap Elliott for me.
I am taking Elliot otherwise. If I take Jack then My #1 target in the 2nd round is Derrick Henry.

we are coming out of this draft with one of these top RBs regardless.

Most sites have Jacks listed ahead of Elliots talent wise.

I'd be Wentz, but for your rules - I'd pick Jack. He has greater potential to be great at his position then Bosa. If Bosa turns out to be Greg Ellis Part 2, then we'll forever be disappointed in him because of his draft position. However, most of us could probably live with Patrick Willis Part 2 at that position.

Of course, if Wentz turns out great, doesn't matter what Bosa or Jack turn out to be. Major anger at the Jones clan if that turns out to be the case.

Between Bosa and Jack I would take Bosa. I put a higher value on the DL and being both picks meet a team need I'd go with the highest value which is DL Bosa.

Funny thing is the very fans who don't want jerry to take Wentz will be bashing him for not taking him if he turns out to be a franchise QB

I would probably pick Bosa as well. I love Jacks but value wise can't pass up top rated DE. Worse case Ellis II but he maybe Jared Allen, Strahan, Suggs type player. Not every DE needs to have that bend (Suggs was slow and no bend either). Some players just have a knack for feeling the blocking scheme and get themselves to the QB. I think he maybe one of those. He's produced from HS to College every year and influenced offensive blocking schemes to free up his teammates.

Bosa. Safer pick, he's on the field every down for us this year, both his knees are good. Jack is a unique player that I'd love to have, but I hate taking a player with medical issues so high.

Collingsworth is dumb. The rams fleeced the skins for RG3,it would cost the Rams double than what they got for RG3 to move up from 15 to 1.

yup....Collingsworth is "dumb", Gruden is "dumb"........is there anyone smart anywhere?

you think 15 to 1 is doable? the titans refused 2 1st RD picks and more for Mariotta.they wont let the top pick go cheaply.

Wentz as long as my scouts say he's a franchise QB type.

Unlike the delusional Jones family, I see a QB in Romo who is playing on borrowed time. A balky back, a collarbone that has been broken multiple times and he's 36 years old. That's a recipe for a short run from here as opposed to the ridiculousness of thinking he can play at an elite level for 4-5 more years. I also have the benefit of history that told me after Aikman hung it up, I wandered for more than a few years trying retreads and mid-round pick talents to plug the QB hole until I got lucky as hell that some UDFA from the Eastern Illinois turned into one of the 10 best QBs in the NFL of the last decade.

So I take the QB and plan for the handing off of the baton a few years from now.

Because here's what I know. Elliott could become a stud at TB, Ramsey could become a stud at S or CB, Bosa could become a dominant DE, Jack could become the next Patrick Willis............... all of that doesn't amount to anything if the QB on your team is Drew Bledsoe, or Quincy Carter, or Drew Henson, or Chad Hutchinson, etc.

It's the most important position on the team and if you have a chance to grab one, you absolutely take it.

you didn't follow the rules so I ding you on style...but you make up for it by the difficulty...yes...I'm ready for the Olympics... 9.9 from the judges...

For me...I'd take Jacks. I like that he is versatile. He can rush, attack the run and cover...This defense is not complex, but could be with the right players. Bosa is not someone I care to see. I am sick of DEs that can only really play the DE position well. Yes, I know he did more at the Combine...but I just get this feeling he will be average at best in the NFL.

Boss makes the d-line better from the moment he steps in the locker room. Jack still hasn't run.

easy choice as of today.

Too true.

Of course, if Wentz fails in the NFL after being drafted by another team, us supporters of drafting him at #4 will quietly forget he even existed, lol.

Probably true
The bad part is we will never know since the team that picks him is very likely to start him right away and I think that's a mistake
He has the tools but he hasn't played a lot of football
I really think if a team spends the time to develope him he can be a very good QB

I don't think it will happen like this. If Wentz is there at #4, we're trading down or picking him. But Bosa vs. Jack is an interesting question.

Everyone says Jack is a supremely athletic and instinctive linebacker with fantastic "tape" and Bosa was at one time nearly universally regarded as the best player in the draft. But Jack is an undersized MLB with injury issues and Bosa is a LDE who seems slower and less athletic than expected and had a disappointing 2015 season. So I dunno. I hate drafting players recovering from major injuries in the first round, and really especially in the top friggin' five. From an eye test perspective, Bosa seems like a boom or bust kind of guy, but I'd prolly take him in the given scenario.

School size aside, does Wentz remind anyone but me of Ryan Leaf?
