Well after watching that video of Dak with dude perfect sinking three pointer after three pointer I'm taking him in a game of one on one against any QB in the NFC..

Oh wait.. they don't play one on one in football?

Never mind..

.
.
.
As long as the team and Dak play just well enough to win.. That's what I care about.. If they do that they're going to the Super Bowl. Let morons argue about the style points. I just want wins.. Dak is playing better than Rush ever did.. The offense is scoring more than it did with Rush.. The team is 6-1 and a coaching staff brain fart away from 7-0 since he came back. Do I want them to play better? Sure I do.. But I know they CAN play better.. I have seen it.

People declared the defense couldn't stop the run and was a fraud.. And they just held 4 straight top 10 RBs under 80 yards.

People claimed Lamb was failing as a #1. He's been top 5 in the league since Dak came back.

Zeke is "below average" yet he's averaging right at 5 yards per carry the last three games and has hit paydirt in 6 straight games. Something only Emmitt and Tony D had accomplished in team history. Oh and he certainly didn't looked washed when he was plowing in for the winning TD on Sunday..

Demarcus Lawrence is "overpaid," "doesn't care since he got paid" and "never makes an impact play.." yet he's among the league leaders in forced fumbles and TFLs at his position. His two goal line stops against Detroit and against Houston were two of the most impactful plays the defense has made all season. "But but but.. not enough sacks..."

To all you Cowboy hating experts.. GTFOH.
You lose me when you start writing your books.

If you can't get your point across in less words then you don't really have a point. The word vomit is a sign of not being confident in your points.

Cowboys fans should expect better from Dak instead of making excuses and harking on PPG since he came back.

It's really that simple.

Either you expect better from the QB position or you end up wondering why another wasted season went down the drain.

So winning is all that matters yet Dallas is 6-1 since Dak return and you say we should expect better? So in your world does Rush lead us to a SB? As fans we should not expect much from Rush.
You asked me can Dak play help this team win a SB? Yes I do, will they? I can't answer that, 2 teams will make it the SB meaning some other teams who also have very good QB will not be in the SB. As a fan you bet I hope this team can play well enough to be one of those teams

. The team is 6-1 since Dak returned and is averaging 35 points a game. As long as that continues I could care less about his stats. I have been reading on this site for years that stats don't matter.. Only wins and losses. When did it change?
When Dak came back.

Now it has turned into "wins only matter in the playoffs". It will forever be a fluid thing. Until the next QB comes in. Then he will be the whipping boy.

You're trying to deflect from the points. I get it, but stay on point.

Why do you not expect Dak to be better than 4 INTS away from leading the NFL despite missing 5 games? Why are you okay with that? Stay on topic here.

Cooper Rush can lead us to wins. That's been proven.

Are we not paying Dak to be MUCH better than Cooper Rush?

Why do you only care about the regular season?

Dak is the starting QB for this team and the goal should always be playoff wins.

Dallas Prescott fans don't care about playoffs?

Dak Haters concerned with win in Playoffs....

There Champion Cooper Rush has proven he can win:lmao2:

Your style of QB selection was popular in the 70s and 80s

My style of QB is simply anyone that can lead us to postseason success.

Should that not be what all of us want?

If Dak does that this year then great. I'll never be able to hold that against him again, but until he does then it's a problem for us, no?

Eureka!!!

Dak can read defenses now!!

The vacuousness in your philosophy is glaring....

yup a 14 point defensive 4th qtr blown lead from being 7-0 but hey dak sux .

hes a jag and its his fault we aren't perfect...

That narrative gets old, all the negativity from fans expecting perfection. ive tried to explain to clueless types that there would never be highlight reel catches if qbs threw perfect passes all the time..those almost always come on slightly off target passes. hard to blame a QB with so many moving parts on every play.

did the WR run the correct route, did he get separations, did the OL block long enough for play to develop, is the ball tipped at the line or defender leaves his man and breaks on the other Wr routes and cut under it, and yes sometimes a qb throws bad passes.

many of Daks INT weren't really all his doing, Sunday he had his arm hit for one pick, had a man into his follow through on missed big play , and was being ran off his timing on routes and had to throw on the run or not able to set his feet.
3 dropped passes and 2 dropped tds aren't being discussed enough yet its Dak had terrible day..like hes on an Island and the pay was perfect exception Daks poor throw.

If we could be better with a different QB would you be okay with that?
Yes, of course!!

But what does better mean?

You understand that over 6 QB Schools, 6 OTAs, 6 Mini- camps and 6 Training Camps, Cooper Rush has not PROVEN to be Better but Eye Test crew tell us Rush would be better.....

I really want to understand what triggers the constant Goalpost Shifting.

I'm not saying Rush. Nobody thinks Rush is the answer.

I'm saying somebody that is not even on the radar right now.

If by the end of Dak's current contract we've not made it past the divisional round would you want to move on?

There is no goal post shifting. The goal post for me is always post season success.

Oh your hate theme of the day...this is like the 10th time you posted this in this thread.

Sounds like a desperate attempt at a whine post....:muttley:

They won 4 in row, and 6 of the last 7.....but wait...oooohhhh....Dak threw some INT's...well so did all other QB's....

We can beat losing teams like the Colts and Texans with how Dak played, but that's not going to fly in the playoffs.

You know that.

We should be expecting better instead of chalking it up as W. It's a concerning pattern we're on right now.

Yes can't disagree. But wins don't come easy in the NFL all the time. They put it together at gut check time.
Still no excuse for Dak's poor play for 57 minutes.

Really do hope Dak proves all us doubters wrong, I love his spirit and how hard he tries. I hope that translates to deep play off or SB run.

And yes if the team plays like that against a playoff team, we lose. Heck if they play like that next week, against the Jaguars we may lose.
However, past teams would have lost for sure.

5 less games and only 4 INTS away from leading the NFL.

YIKES!
Early on Dak was said to be too careful with the ball. The critics said his lack of aggressiveness in his pass game was a liability. They even said that they would rather live with the inevitable increase in turnovers if it meant opening the offense up. Now that it's happening it's a problem.
