oooops, get into the ball park before becoming a critic. Or just read the post. that was a prediction of ranking for the 2023 season for discussion. You merely add a statistical list and present it without even discussing implications from a past table of stats.
 :banghead:  :banghead:

Now if the I.Q, level of those two posts were just 3 points HIGHER it could then be classified as sedimentary rock, Ace.

Start singing your song: woa ... woa ... woa, not for me!

Depend on how we use him. Move him around and maybe 15-20. Leave him at DE and no. He will be worn down before the end of season. If someone don’t take his knee out first. Bring him in on blitzes behind Mazi and move him around. Don’t let teams be able to game plan on him.

Being a linebacker actually helps to protect him.

Sacks are quirky. I predict he gets single digit sacks this year.

8.5
That is valid, but I'm feeling he will be more involved as a leader and able to more just react than read. Faster will be better and he should be stronger and more aggressive as well...

It's possible for him to get better...but have less sacks.

Everyone was predicting massive sack totals for him last year at this time. The more teams keep focusing on him the tougher it will be getting to the QB. I just want to see him become a complete player. Having him preoccupied rushing the QB is just wearing him down. By the end of the season he hasn’t had much left in his tank.
Well especially when we make it easy for them

Which is going to be so little that it's not going to matter. We're talking about fewer than 10 snaps on the year where he doesn't rush in a passing situation.
It always matters when you're talking about quantity of sacks. If he's not rushing the passer, he can't get sacks. That goes for if he plays linebacker 10 times or 100 times. Any ONE time keeps him from sacking the quarterback.

Furthermore, the context of this issue is his over/under on 16 sacks. Last year, he got 13.5 almost exclusively as an edge rusher. ANY snaps at linebacker is going to be one fewer as an edge rusher. And that one time NOT going after the quarterback could result in one fewer sack towards his overall total.

If what Parsons says is true that he's going to be utilized in a number of ways, then that's going to cut into his sack total. Hence, my prediction of under 16 sacks for the year.
