I don't know about "toughest ever", but that is crazy.

A Packers -> Falcons -> Patriots matchup would be the 3 best QB's in the NFL this season.

Fun fact: Together, with those 3, Dak is rated 3rd in Passer Rating just above Rodgers.

Defense is going to be tested.

Luckily, only one of those teams really plays defense, and that'd be the final game.

Vs #1 defense and going on the road vs the mighty niners wasn't a cakewalk

Not buying... Any time you have HFA by definition you CANT have the toughest road to the SB bc you aren't on the road at all!

Granted Rodgers and Brady are great QBs and we can certainly lose in the playoffs-- but the following 3 points are in our favor and make us the team to beat in the NFC:

1. Our defense is peaking at the perfect time of year

2. We run the ball very well

3. We don't turn the ball over

If past performance is the best indicator of future success-- then those 3 traits specifically bode very well for us.

Makes me simultaneously regurgitate and tear-up just a little to watch these guys pimping for people to pay attention to them so they can continue their 0.1 ratings, and avoid doing anything actually substantive with their careers.

The premise assumes nothing else matters to the success of a team but the QB and the head coach.

So shallow.

Ok. Let's make this improbable season even more improbable. They've been saying no way ever since Tony first went down. Us against the world. Team of destiny. Let's do this!!!
and throw in its never been done with a rookie QB which seems to be popular with some posters these days, yes it's true but hey first time for everything.

This is our year period.

First off, the league is watered down from what it has been so there had to be tougher roads in the past. But lets talk about this year. Is Dallas' road tougher than Detroit's? In fact, Dallas' road this year is easier than any of the other NFC teams simply because they don't have to beat Dallas in Dallas so no it isn't the toughest ever.

I'm not buying it either. I agree with your 1,2, and 3 points and would also put in a 4th.
4. Dak and Zeke changed the culture of this team, Dak and Zeke re-energized this team and has rejuvenated the franchise. So the whole culture argument goes out the window. also I've never heard of a team being outcultured when they start playing the game. That point by Cowherd is weak at best. When Zeke ran all over the Steelers in Heinz field and when Dak took the ball 95 yards in 35 seconds in Green Bay, I distinctively do not remember culture stopping them.

Yah-- weak-sauce argument from Cowherd for sure. And I agree with you about how Dak and Zeke have revitalized the culture of this team.

They are professional, love to win and compete, work hard-- but have a blast doing it. Love the way this team has come together this year and believe in each other.

In fact-- you could make the argument that this team has the MOST positive culture in the NFL. Not only have they learned bitter lessons after a 4-12 campaign last year, they stepped up and responded after witnessing their starting QB go down and everyone started throwing dirt on their season.

They have handled adversity beautifully. Rodgers has shown he is a leader after pulling things together this season as well-- but it wasn't as dramatic (or unexpected) a turnaround IMO.

Both the Coughlin/Eli Giant SB runs were brutal. 2007 and 2011 opponents had a combined record of 51-13. They only had 1 home game during those runs.

2005 Steelers opponents also combined 51-13 all on the road

Ridiculous to ever say the team with home field in the playoffs has a tough road.
It ain't supposed to be easy, but you only have to win two home games to be in the SB.
