Yep. That Giants team got red hot at the right time. What a playoff run they had. Toughest of all time.Giants 2007?
Beat 9-7 Tampa in Tampa
Beat 13-3 Dallas with Romo
Beat 13-3 Green Bay in -1 F in Green Bay with Brett Favre
Beat 16-0 New England with Tom Brady
2010 Packers?
We have two games to play, at home.
Best part of his show. lolLet's hope the Monday after the SB
This is where Colin was wrong.
Makes me simultaneously regurgitate and tear-up just a little to watch these guys pimping for people to pay attention to them so they can continue their 0.1 ratings, and avoid doing anything actually substantive with their careers.
The premise assumes nothing else matters to the success of a team but the QB and the head coach.
So shallow.
Yeah he was on a weak sauce roll today. Comparing keeping Kirk cousins to being the next google for business owners. That argument is stupid because as business owner you don't have to be as big as google to still be successful. I know people making 2-3 kill a year and yeah they aren't google but they aren't hurting either. In sports though the whole point is to win it all or you're not really doing your job so that right there makes what Colin said silly. I think some of these people have prep sessions with yes men cause somebody should have told him that was a stupid pig to have comparing Kirk to someone being successful at starting a business.Yah-- weak-sauce argument from Cowherd for sure. And I agree with you about how Dak and Zeke have revitalized the culture of this team.
They are professional, love to win and compete, work hard-- but have a blast doing it. Love the way this team has come together this year and believe in each other.
In fact-- you could make the argument that this team has the MOST positive culture in the NFL. Not only have they learned bitter lessons after a 4-12 campaign last year, they stepped up and responded after witnessing their starting QB go down and everyone started throwing dirt on their season.
They have handled adversity beautifully. Rodgers has shown he is a leader after pulling things together this season as well-- but it wasn't as dramatic (or unexpected) a turnaround IMO.
He's full of somethingOur road in 2014 was going to be harder. Starting out with an explosive Lions team with Megatron in the wild card round. Then went to GB against Rodgers. Then would have went to Seattle to play Wilson. And we would have finished against Brady. That's much harder than this year, where we have home field and will play one less game.
Colin Cowherd is full of hyperbole.
What he saidCowherd makes his living by being provocative. Talking about the Cowboys is good business right now. Nothing to see here.
Exactly. Another perspective says the Pack will have the toughest road and so on.perspective
