Maybe, but that would beg the question, why? Dak is the QB1 for the next 3 years; that die was cast when the extended him. Do they plan on Trey being the backup for the next 3 years? Why would Trey do that? I’m sure he could get a lowball offer in FA equal to what the Cowboys will offer with a chance to start.

Has anyone employed by the Dallas Cowboys indicated they have any intention of re-signing Lance? Has anyone that regularly reports on the Dallas Cowboys ever indicated they’ve heard the Cowboys have any intention of re-signing Lance? This Sunday will be the first time he’s ever been on the Cowboys’ game day roster. And it’s only because of an injury to Prescott.

When is it going to be apparent the acquisition of Trey Lance is nothing more than taking a chance on a player that did not work out? This kind of thing happens to the other 31 NFL teams. Why do so many Cowboys fans have difficulty accepting Lance is not ever going to make an impact? Not to any degree.

Dude, he will not be a starter here, so get over your hate. It's the same old thing with you. The guy in Indy barely played either, and things aren't exactly peaches and cream for him as of yet. At some point, the teams that draft raw QB's have to take responsibility. Heck Caleb is kind of going through the same thing, and Daniels isn't because he was/is the most ready QB from last year's draft.
