WTH? Juanyeh Thomas admits the whole Defense and D-Coordinator Dan Quinn QUIT early in the 1st quarter against the Packers during the 2023 Season home playoff loss.

Don’t think we’ve ever seen that body language between that QB and WR before. Something led to that. I’m not buying the he was crying about the ball stuff.
Yes! You can see it from the first series. I also strongly agree it was more than crying about the ball. Sometimes I wonder if the delay with the extensions for both guys have something to do with what it is that happened. We’ll never know and it’s pure speculation.

That's nothing. Some fans have already quit on next year.
You shouldn't worry about the fans....got nothing to do with what's on the field. Direct your displeasure at the ones who actually quit on the field.. .... oh sorry, forgot it was you. Almost like you are on Jerry's payroll.

It was all weird and the aftermath that followed was weird as well. Something happened in that locker room or during the week at practice. I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out players were half assing it during practice and didn’t put much stock into the game plan. Pure speculation, but it felt like there was a fed up feeling which gave the appearance of quitting on the field. I haven’t rewatched the game only clips that I come across, and it really jumps out to me.

but they quit in the first quarter. they didn't score until early 2nd quarter.

why did this defense quit in the middle of first quarter? then we have KC. offense struggling every which way? did they quit? no, they fought harder. our team quit! all of them. coaches too. where is the fight?
What? Packers had 20 points midway through the second. It was 20-0, which means the defense DID make some stops but the offense did nothing with it. Guess what happened next? Dak gifted GB 7 points making it 27-0.

It's a complete exaggeration here that the defense was abysmally bad in the first half. They weren't great, but if the offense does it's job it could have been 14-13 going into the half.

I thought it was obvious.......lol
I do think something happened team-wise that week that hasn't come out. I don't know if players partied, didn't practice with a sense of urgency or just thought they could simply walk on the field and win.

All I know is that game is THE worst defeat in franchise history IMO........factoring in what was on the line, how hard it was to gain the advantage they had and they didn't compete.
The worst was the Cabo loss. Both times we over looked a team. But packers game I think quinn knew he was leaving. He will be a one and done hc. Hope he is getting paid well. He blew that huge lead against brady in sb. Lol. Couldn’t stick with what was winning. We blew a huge lead to packers in a regular season game. Then lost a playoff game to them where they ran the same thing again.

What? Read my response.

The defense quit in the middle of first quarter.

You are talking about 2nd quarter. Sounds like you have a predetermined answer and you are going to stick tonit come hell or high water.

I am not saying it. It's the gist of the OP.

Why did the defense quit in the first quarter?

I assume you are going to somehow blame the war in Gaza on Dak.

ANYONE who is trying to blame just one side and give the other side a pass CLEARLY has an agenda.

Defense stepped on the field first, and promptly got bullied for a TD on the very first drive, then proceeded to give up TDs 6 of the Packers first 7 drives.
The offense stepped on the field, and promptly did nothing to answer the call, including not doing the D any favors with a pick 6 before the half to go down by 4 TDs.

The WHOLE TEAM got their ***** kicked.
That is so right on that it deserves a second read! You're right on it SackMaster.

I'm not going to put "the entire blame" on Dak.

But if you think he didn't assist in it you are nuts. Not only did Dak NOT rally the team, he single-handedly contributed to it's demise. Doing nothing might have been more help.

13-7 at half time sounds much better...dunnit?

All I see is a youtuber trying lay blame exclusively on the Defense and give Dak a pass. Heck nah, Dak helped GB put points on his Defense too.

We already knew dem Boyz don't have no dawg in them once the Playoffs start.
Leave a critical Dak comment on his channel and he erases them

when did I say he didn't assist? I have been saying it from the beginning, so don't make up stuff. there are way more people here to say he single handedly caused the loss. which is sticking your head in the sand if you don't see all the other problems on the team.

so stop it with the bs

I guess that would explain why they looked horrible. I wonder why Dak looked so bad?

Okay so you corrected me on your position. No need to get nasty. Might help if you mention it when assessing everything else.
