Even if a player we hope to get through waivers gets claimed by another team, that may not be the end of the story.

Zion Childress spent time last season with Houston before finding his way back to Dallas as a member of the Practice Squad.

If Jaydon Blue gets claimed or signs with another team's Practice Squad, he might come back to Big D later this year or even next off-season.

We should wind up with some combo of Blue, Phil Mafah, Israel Abandikanda (if waived) or other NFL flotsam on our Practice Squad this week.
