The Cowboys have placed defensive lineman Shaneil Jenkins (knee), linebacker James Morris (shoulder) and cornerback Jeremiah McKinnon on waived/injured list. Cornerback Josh Thomas (thumb) was placed on injured reserve.

Little surprised w/ the Josh Thomas move....

All of these waived/injured players interest me. I hope they revert to injured reserve so we can see if they show any development next year.

I dont think anyone from these rounds of cuts will be on the PS. I think that will be players cut from the 54 cut down

The fact they are being released with the injured designation means they would like to keep them on IR.

I think the Jenkins release is suspicious. His knee is other wrecked or he did something

Or he tweaked his knee to the point they don't think keeping him on the active roster is feasible. It actually could mean they just are caught in a situation where they don't want to lose him, but can't afford to hold up a roster spot, especially on the DL.
