You think tony is sitting otherwise? Anything less is quite ridiculous.

This is the guy that played with punctured lung and broken ribs afterall

Tony is as tough as nails. Love the guy but is your preferred strategy/wish to "allow Dak to make mistakes to ease the transition back to Tony?" Not sure if you're objective is TEAM oriented?

I am confused by this. I watched Romo throw pat and go at the stadium a few weeks ago. Not sure this is anything new or has any new meaning.

I cant wait till he comes back though.
Yes...the dog and pony show has begun:starspin:

I suppose it is possible, but it would be an extremely stupid move on their part. If Romo is healthy, and Dak gets hurt on the first play Sunday night, then they're going to go with Sanchez for the rest of the game just so they can play some silly PR game?
I would think Romo would be suited up and ready to go if needed in a pinch, possibly under the 3rd QB rule in the event Dak gets injured (don't even like typing those words).

Glad to see Coach Romo back on the field. Get him a clipboard and a sun visor. Tell him where the Microsoft Surface is and the printer for the game screenshots.

So then you're saying he hasn't been healthy, and there hasn't been a ruse? I'm confused now, because Romo has not been suited up, and won't be this Sunday.

Your telling me that if this was 2015 Romo would not be in the lineup at this exact moment? He could have probably played 2 weeks ago I think.
He should of been throwing two weeks ago at practice if he was on the pace that Jerry described. I know they trotted him out there for practice today, just saying the dates are not matching up for recovery from this single incident, something else may be at play.

yup, just as clear has 1/2 man, bear and pig! lol

Let me try to clarify my convoluted logic......
- I believe Romo is healthy enough to play
- Dak is on an amazing streak that the team does not want to interrupt
- the sports media is drooling to create a QB controversy so saying he's still healing delays that distraction
- Eagles game is very important and if needed, I believe Romo would be made available to play

Yeah
let the Cowboys keep rolling with Dak.
heck, they are 5-1.:flagwave:

The last time I recall them starting like that was the last time Romo played extended time...2014 they started ot 6-1. :flagwave:
Oh and 2015 they started 2-0 before the injury.:flagwave:

I DO say roll with what they have going.
But really, it's basically what they started out doing the last two years. The defense is a bit better though.

Its just the "sit back and wait" approach...nothing all too special.

1/2 man, 1/2 bear, 1/2 pig..haha. That's funny.
That's a buck and a half....I don't think you can do that..(from a movie, Journey to planet sanity)

I think it is the opposite and that the injury is still a concern, I hope you are correct.

If he was anything other than "not quite ready" he'd likely be doing more than pat-and-go throws and being categorized by JG as "day to day." Granted, he may well be close to getting the green light. Regardless, like yourself, I'm also hoping this idea that he's ready now is a fact.
