Let's hope he's right, otherwise he may have trouble getting open and Dak might be forced to limit him as a decoy. ~crossing fingers~

I was also told his back was broke. WTH!!!That can't be right. It must be a look-a-like. I was told that Romo could not roll out.
Yep. If we were 3-3 or worse he'd be starting .Romo's probably been ready to play for about 2 weeks now. If you still believe he is "healing" and "not quite ready", I have some ocean front property in Nevada I can sell to you

I like the conspiracy theories that they're intentionally holding Romo back because they don't want a conflict or something.
The reality is if he's 100% healthy he's a full tier or two better QB than Dak. There's zero chance they don't play a 100% healthy Romo over Dak. It just doesn't make any sense. You play the better player.
Dan Marino is only a little better than Sanchez going by a lot of folks guidelinesWell, Sanchez has played in a championship game so he must be better than Tony, right?
If he's healthy, he's healthy. You don't sit your better player because you think he might get hurt in the future. What kind of sense does that make? The problem is "the better player" involves numerous and complex criteria in a situation like this ex. health and the ability to STAY HEALTHY, efficiency, chemistry, play design, versatility, momentum and on etc.. I actually couldn't disagree with you more. I couldn't fathom sitting Dak assuming he continues his steady play. If we're sitting at 6-1, I'd consider it damn near impossible to insert the guy who's played two full games in nearly two years. So much risk involved on so many levels.
Correct!!If he's healthy, he's healthy. You don't sit your better player because you think he might get hurt in the future. What kind of sense does that make?
And you don't start a lesser player because of some nebulous concept like chemistry. It doesn't matter if the lesser player is playing consistent. If he's not as good, you sit him. It's not complex at all.
If player A is better than player B, you start player A. Simple.
Ride that baby till it's blown up on the side of the road. YeeHaa!...and nothing wrong with giving Romo a shot behind the wheel.
That's a man who looks like he knows he has some competition.Looking a bit leaner/more fit?

WORDIt's just not that simple. It just isn't which is why countless former players, coaches, GM's and analyst blatantly disagree with your simplification of the issue. Playing Romo makes sense on paper but we all know the game isn't played this way. We have to take Romo's history into account. We're giving him Tom Brady, Peyton Manning like immortality when his resume simply doesn't warrant it. It just doesn't. To call the concept of chemistry in the game of football "nebulous" is absolutely absurd. Players get "Wally Pipped" all the time. To get 53 men and a coaching staff all in sync is what you strive for. To get it going like we currently have it is what you live for. You always want to be greater than the sum of your parts yet some of us are more concerned of where we rank as a passing offense? I won't pretend I don't see the other side of the argument. I just see Dak + Zeke as the new life blood of this team. New energy which cannot be defined on paper. I know something special when I see it. I see this as the figurative equivalent of yanking Brady to go back to Bledsoe and Bledsoe had led his team to a SB. When you go backwards it can take twice the time to recover. As much as I love Romo, all he's done for the franchise, his skillset as an elite passer etc. I just can't ignore the malaise his era at the helm has set into the franchise as well FOR WHATEVER REASON.
I been saying Romo is the backup. He's only going to play unless Dak bombs or gets hurt. Then will get traded in the offseason.I am confused by this. I watched Romo throw pat and go at the stadium a few weeks ago. Not sure this is anything new or has any new meaning.
I cant wait till he comes back though.
