What are the chances of them shopping for a good backup quarterback in the draft? Almost afraid to ask that question.

I wouldn’t call that a long shot at all.

Probably depends on having made a trade for extra picks and/or if they take a kicker at some point.

They have been pretty good in rounds 5/6 so it’s not as if those should be viewed as total throwaways.

I would think MM wants a developmental guy and the Nooch experiment is probably about over. A draft pick probably bumps Grier from the roster.

This presser has to be more useless than the 500th presser before the Super Bowl. No one is going to tip anything off, especially knowing the Eagles want to draft our #1 target before we get a chance to take him! There was really no need to for at all other than the appease the beat writers looking for some juicy tidbit to fill a column or two.

They’ve been linked to multiple mid-round QB’s. Keep an eye out for Aiden O’Connell and Clayton Thune. Both accurate passers who fit what McCarthy likes from his QB’s as he wants them to be like point guards in that WCO.
