Cowboys predicted to start season with brutal losing streak by NFL analyst

The Dallas Cowboys are entering a new era with Brian Schottenheimer at the helm, but the team is being predicted to start off the 2025 NFL season on a brutal streak.

The Dallas Cowboys have one of the hardest schedules in the NFL season, and that has some analysts presenting an ugly picture for the team's 2025 outlook. Dallas opens the season by traveling to face the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Along with facing the NFC East rivals home and away, the Cowboys will face off against the AFC West, NFC North, Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, and Carolina Panthers.

Three of the Cowboys' first five games are on the road -- against the Eagles, Chicago Bears, and Jets -- and one NFL expert believes the team will have to wait an entire month before winning their first game of the season.

CBS Sports' Mike Renner predicted Dallas will start the season on a five-game losing streak.

Who?

Renner does the draft show every year with micah on bleacher report. I'm just waiting for him to hop on Twitter instead of going out and proving Mike wrong.

All us stupid Cowboy fans, talking about nothing to see, yet.

Until further notice, the Cowboy are losers.

But they are so pretty. Star on the shirt. GTFOH

You lose to the Giants at home in a game that will be QB'd by washed up Wilson or a rookie in Dart, you got HUGE problems.
You think Wilson is washed up? If he'd have played in that Pittsburgh game last year, we'd have lost.

Not sure what the record will be. I will say this though. If they start out that bad.

This year better be the tank for Manning year if he declares. I don’t want to have the second or first overall pick only to win a bunch of games that don’t matter to then pick at 12 like this past season.

I have us at 8-9 at best. Although I disagree with his prediction and don’t think we will be that bad, he isn’t far off.

This guy doesn't know anything about the. Cowboys and football.

We're a shoe in to be 4-1 or so after the first 5 games.

Does he not know We're the Kings of August and September?

Granted....we'll have a colossal flame out after Thanksgiving, as per usual, and finish up 7-10 or so, or worse....eek into a wildcard and lose 49-12 with 4 INTs... but in September? SEPTEMBER????? THAT'S OUR GROWLIN' TIME BABY!!!!!!!!!

When the bell rings and someone punches you right in the face...hey, start the fight then and there.

These Cowboys are already game with guts...
LOL.... or motto for decades has been to curl into the fetal position and surrender when the other team punches us in the face...and then run our mouths on podcasts a few days later. Guts?

That punk was one of the putzes on The Bachelorette. Young punks ! Rumored to have had an affair with the leprechaun mascot at his alma mater, ND.
