They barely acknowledge that there is a game being played. It's yuk yuk yuckedy yuk stories completely unrelated to the game.

I think the fact that Babe is no longer the CBS local sports anchor and his replacement is part of the broadcast has fueled his need to be the "look at me" guy.

Keith Russell is kinda of goofy but seems to try hard (too hard).

Did you hear Russell speak at the Kickoff Luncheon? He went on and on thanking Jerry Jones and his family. For what, I'm not sure.

So, let me get this straight.

Are you trying to say that Jermey Parnell could be a better broadcaster than Laufenberg?

Have they considered that people that like football details are their audience once Romo and Dez are out of the game which is when fluff fans tune out?

Garrett substitutes earlier than his peers and by the 4th quarter, players like Dill and Glaud have been playing a series or two more than their peers. They do point out nice play but at the same token they don't hammer end of the roster guys that have little to no shot to make the team.

The second halves of these games have been hard to watch.

To be fair after having watched the San Diego Crew, Philly, Washington, Pittsburgh and last night the Patriot bandwagon crew, we are about in the middle of being professional with the Steelers and Patriots providing so much homerism it was hard to pay attention to the game. The Patriot broadcast team tries to make up for what Bill(head coach) does not tell them, which means they are guessing often and wrong more than right. The pats have some issues on offense(looked like us playing 49ers last year), now that defense if it is healthy looks like a handful.
Give me Dale Hansen before he got all high and mighty in the early nineties if I had a choice of someone to listen to during the game.
Full disclaimer I still listen to Norm and have for years much to the dismay of my fellow passengers in the vehicle.

I like the whole games. I try to listen to the audio the first time through but I might have to just mute it tonight.

Backup OL often can only be seen in the preseason.

No, I didn't listen.

Russell just needs to show some confidence and quit trying too hard. It's like when Jesse Holley finally got an opportunity and he celebrated his TD waaaay too long.
