If you're not lucky enough to get the local broadcasts of the games it looks like the next 2 preseason games (Rams & Colts) will be carried live on NFL Network. The last two games can be seen live on NFL Game Pass by going to NFL.com and getting the free 7 day trial on Saturday of the Raiders game and canceling on the following Friday after the Thursday night game with the Texans. I did this last preseason and NFL Game Pass works great.

Does anyone have NFL Gamepass?

I was thinking about it this year but I want to know if it is worth it.

BTW...they blocked a Cowboys game from the trial last year so don't count on it if you sign up for the trial.

GamePass is awesome. You get the network broadcast, a condensed version of the game with nothing but the plays that you can watch in a little over half an hour, and the all 22. It's really nice to be able to watch the previous season's games during the off-season when there's nothing else going on .

I had it the 1st year they started it. I loved it. May get it again to watch some of the Bengals games. As I will get all the Dallas games.
Unless I can get NFLST for free again. I need to call and complain about something, and see if they will give me a deal. Got it free last year.

If not will use first row sports again to watch any other games I want to see or keep an eye on.

I got it free because I switched from ATT U-Verse to DTV. Got 1st year free. But now my rates gone up on 2nd year. So I figured I would complain. Supposedly some got it free fro when you threaten to switch carriers. But I have until April on my 2 year deal.

I had it from 1997 to 2013. Then cancelled everything. Then went back to them last them last year.
I will switch providers every year if I can to avoid the ripoff of them all as they always keep increasing rates. So switch to get a special deal.

I called again this year and got $45 a month off my bill for a year, Sports Pack free for 6 months and I pay $29.99 for 6 months instead of $46.99 for 6 months with Sunday Ticket Max thrown in. Overall, I'm getting the Ticket for free plus a little extra. Just tell them that you will re-up your contract with them for another year and they will deal with you.

Just got my Sunday Ticket free again. My 12 month contract coincidentally expires on 8 August (just when the season is getting ready to start), so I call up to cancel saying that Dish Network offers a two year price guarantee (I don't talk Sunday Ticket until I get a comparable deal on my regular package). Once they give me the good deal on the regular package, I then tell them that I'll take it if I can get Sunday Ticket thrown in. They've given it to me each time with a 12 month commitment...that's key so that you can pull it off each year. Don't let them con you into 24 months. It has been years since I have paid for ST. If you use the "I'm switching to Dish" tactic, it helps (I think) to do a little research on the packages and deals that Dish offers so that when you talk to DTV, you have info that shows you've researched switching carriers and that you're seriously considering cancelling DTV. That's been my strategy and it's worked without fail up to now. I also shower them with niceness when chatting just to grease the skids a little bit. :)
Forgot to add that they threw in 6 months of HBO and Cinemax for free. I don't usually watch the movie channels so that's not a big deal to me, but since it's free, I take it.

See my post from a little earlier in this thread. You can definitely get it free if you work it some.

When you call, you will get an automated voice prompt asking why you're calling. Make sure you respond with "cancel service". That will get you through to the all-important retention department. They will do a lot to keep subscribers. Just a reminder...don't go for anything more than a 12 month commitment and don't accept a "discount" on the ST. I have told them in the past that most Cowboy games are televised anyways and that for the few that aren't, I'll just go to a local sports bar and watch it. Don't start out with ST, though, tell them your bill is too high and that you can get a better deal elsewhere. Once you get the cheaper bill, then go for the free ST. You should be able to come out much better at the end of it all.

Ditto VA, I've had it every year and it's well worth it, for all of the reasons you stated.

I have done that for years with DTV, This year they would do nothing for me at all so I switched to Dish. When I call DTV back to get my refund they incessantly try to give me all kind of deals to come back. I must have been trying during a period that they were not giving deals anymore. I don't understand them at all!
