If you grew up back then not a long story. A big reason I became a fan. Playing football in the backyard as QB you were Dandy or Roger, throwing long to Bob. Just like on Sundays.

Bob Hayes was my first sports hero. Saw him play in person at both the Cotton Bowl and Texas Stadium. He was the fastest player I’ve ever seen in a football uniform.
