Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys used a dime package that featured CBs Terence Newman, Anthony Henry, Pacman Jones and Mike Jenkins and safeties Pat Watkins and Courtney Brown. S Roy Williams worked with the second-team defense for the package, but he remained with the first-team defense in the standard defense.

Maybe, but I love Canty at DT. Hes something like 6'7" long arms, strong and athletic. Really fudges with QB's vision.

Great problem to have though

Last year I believe it was usually either both Spears and Canty in at the same time, or Hatcher and Tank in at the same time as a substitution.

I would be shocked if Ratliff isn't a nickel DT, considering he's been our nickel DT the last 2 years and both Wade and Parcells have said that he's the best interior pass rusher on the team. He's a better pass rusher than Canty, IMHO.

Because of the changes in offensive rules, I know the nickle is used as much as the based defense nowadays.

I certainly don't remember.

I remember him claiming once that Wade had called Roy a "nickel linebacker" or something in a PC once. And since I had recapped every PC that offseason, I knew that he hadn't.
