Cowboys raising regular-season ticket prices

The Cowboys have informed season-ticket holders they will use variable ticket pricing this season, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. That means lower ticket prices for the team’s two home preseason games but more expensive regular-season tickets.

“We are always evaluating feedback from our Season Ticket Holders and adjusting policies based on that feedback,” the Cowboys wrote in an email to season-ticket holders. “Historically, all tickets were priced the same for each home game, including both preseason games. Beginning with the 2019 season, this variable ticket pricing will result in a decreased price for preseason and a higher rate for regular season home games.”

The best seats at AT&T Stadium, which are the first two sections between the end zones on either side of the field, are $410 for regular-season games in 2019. The same seats are $210 in the preseason.

Two season tickets in the best sections at AT&T Stadium will cost $7,400, parking not included.

The cheapest seats at AT&T Stadium will go for $35 in the preseason and $85 in the regular season.

DLaw funds...:muttley::facepalm:

My seats are club hall of fame. Face value was 350. Now they’re 410. But preseason was 350 now it’s 210. So it comes out to almost a wash (not really) for the total. It’s up 800 for the year basically for the 4 seats I have I believe.

FA's cost money. They also know they are a playoff team this year. So they will raise ticket prices. But if they start tanking like 2017 watch the prices drop.

See what happens when you win one little playoff game?

Jerry thanks you...........I believe Jerry thinks when his time is up he's taking his wealth with him...........poor guy, I really do feel sorry for him.............even being the #1 valued sports team year in and year out isn't enough.

I’m telling you guys...once the 3D technology gets to the point where it’s widely available st movie theaters and there are enough cameras for games, then movie theaters will start selling a stadium experience at a fraction of the cost....mark my words its coming

I don’t get it, how would some of you be able to brag how the Cowboys are one of the most valuable franchises in the world with out these increases? This is what happens when you’re a fan of the most popular team in the NFL.

Oh well, I stopped giving my money to Jerrah years ago because he’s a greedy (I’m at a loss of words that won’t cause me to get a warning) that hasn’t won jack in over twenty years but continues pull stunts like this. Good thing for Jerry that ticket prices aren’t based on playoff results.

Hope you don't really believe that Jerry would entertain lowering ticket prices just because his team sucks.

If it was you could go to a game for $5. Nearly 25 years of crap and counting....

He do. I've seen tickets prices drop once we lost Romo, or was out of a playoff run early in the season.

Football is so much better on tv than in person. I prefer baseball and basketball in person. Football is not a spectator friendly sport in my eyes. Especially nFL with their stale stadiums. College is a little different story with their pageantry and different atmospheres.

Actually, I would have guessed those seats were higher priced than that.
