Cowboys raising regular-season ticket prices

I bought season tickets for a couple years in the Party Pass section. Not bad as long as you don't mind the drunks fighting.

It’s called capitalism. Supply and demand. Sucks for the middle class and below. At least TV is a lot cheaper.

Cheaper? Lol..you ever been to this stadium? TV isnt just cheaper..it's significantly better

Last year in preseason sell 1000 tickets at 400.00 ea = $400,000.00 this year in preseason sell 4000 tickets at 200.00 ea. = $800,000.00 + concessions and parking...Jerry ain't stoopid......

well jerry just keeps picking the fans pockets and the fans just keep coming back for more haven't won a divisional playoff game in over 23 years and they still fill the stadium and go to training camp like they are a world class playoff winning team

Jerry doesn't need the money. Plus, with his failure to deliver for the past 20 plus seasons, he should lower ticket prices.

DAL is 29th is Cash Spent over the last 4 years at 95% of the cap

We aren't even spending up to the cap with a Division winning team that makes 800m in revenues

Ever NFL team got 245m from TV last year... the cap was 177m and the team has another 40m in benefits, insurance and pensions that are mandated...... that means they are covered before they even sell one ticket, one beer, one parking, one jersey, one ad, one radio deal...etc

So, Jerauh and son have decided that the best way to keep the fan base fat, lazy and accepting mediocre 8-8 seasons is to "raise" the seat prices? Good to know.

chargers
patriots
Commanders
niners
giants
ravens

all have higher prices then dallas.

Further proof that there are a lot of suckers out there. I could pay the NFL's asking prices, but I'm not going to do it. Any game I go to is a road trip, so it doesn't take much to approach $1,000 whether they win or lose. Nope, not worth it. I'm glad I saw a lot of games when I was younger.

The only exception I'm going to make is if the Cowboys get to a SB while I'm still able to make the trip.

Why? I mean yeah it’s business but you need to win a Super Bowl to jack it up that much

Look at Washington.....nose bleeds are 100 after tax and look at their stadium on sundays....empty

Jerry knows opposing team’s fans will buy up whatever Dallas fans don’t. He’s made the stadium and the lure of beating Dallas enough of an attraction that people will pay more because it’s just part of a small vacation.

Jerry has to pay for that yacht, y’all!
What happens when he actually signs a FA. Actually this just Jerry being greedy. I guess he needs to keep a certain operating margin.
Can Jeff Bezos please offer our plastic face idiot 10 billion to go away....

Thank you for showing what the actual incentive structure is. Jerry just does t care about winning. Some hardliners just don’t want to admit it. Jerry just wants to keep making huge profits. What is his actual motivation to win? 3 SB’s, HOF, wealthy beyond belief, you don’t think he is living in a bubble. He really is only in this business to promote his EGO. He has seen that over the past 25 years the Cowboys just need to be relaxant every few years. ESPN loves talking about them. They get more national games than any other team. Winning a SB is. It tied to his success. As a fan I beat myself over wins and losses more than he does.

Free but not free, still need to pay for cable and buy a TV. :muttley:
But a heck of a lot cheaper.

My tickets were $340 per seat, and parking $75. I hated paying for those preseason games. But when I was working out of state, I was able to sell the regular season tickets higher to make up for it. A I had to practically give them away. But was lucky most of the time to sell them for $100 each. And was basically able to go to 2 games a year, basically free from the profits I made.

But when I was home or working in the area, I went to all the games.
Still no regrets whatsoever that I sold them before the 2016 season.

And the "soft-liners" take this approach all the time. SO WHAT he makes money, that is what he is supposed to do.
Have you ever owned a business?
I have, and I fired people because they wanted to use the business as their own playground, and thought I ran the business just for them to make a living and for them and their friends to party and drink for free.

Well, I wanted tell them, you can't drink at all now with no job. But I did not, I just told them their employment was no longer needed. I was there to make money too. So what is Jerry supposed to do, be a nonprofit organization to appease the "soft-liners"

The NFL isn't a regular business ...... it is a monopoly with severe caps on player's salaries and a weak NFLPA

JJones has an obligation to put the best team on the field that he is capable of...... not one that maximizes the profits to wins ratio..... he already gets to deal with players that have their wages and movement capped, now he won't even barely spend the League mandated minimums to make sure the cheap owners weren't just pocketing the revenue sharing money

JJones actually contributes more to other teams FA thru Revenue Sharing than he does for the Cowboys...... 35m on average spent on FA is a joke and not the funny kind
