PFF had Fehoko rated at #141 in their top 200 list.
- The Cowboys drafted him at #129.
- He was a 30-visit.
One of 3 of 3 of our picks who made some writer's "Better Than People Think" list.
One of the others was Mazi.

I was hoping for Rodriguez or Isreal. You'd think we'd have gone at least that route as a set up for 2024 without Pollard.

Maybe they fell in love with Deuce and figured he'd be Pollards replacement and they'd draft a larger back next draft. I dunno..
Also, how much speed did Tony lose because of the leg rebuild?

Seems like the team has a big need at RB, and I was surprised they didn't really go after one in the draft. (a late 6th doesn't really move the needle much) If Pollard is not on the field, there is a steep drop off. I expected they would take a RB higher that had starting potential. RB is a weakness in the roster.
Total agree.

What they are doing at RB doesn’t make sense.

Cut Zeke and break up.

Say they want Zeke back.

Skip RBs in the draft and pick up the short kid in the draft.

Say they’d welcome Zeke back.

Still not sign Tony to a long term deal.

It was not remotely close to something like ACL surgery.

Tua Tagovailoa had that surgery in college and returned to play in 28 days...

Rodriguez intrigued me and it will be interesting to see how his power running works in the NFL. His lack of giddyup may derail him, but man, he shows some pop.
I just think some rbs got taken right before the Cowboys would have taken them and kind of lucked into duece (probably his size scared teams off)

They haven’t said they want Zeke back.

It’s obvious they don’t want Zeke back.

They gave the guys number away.

What Jerry is doing is showing Zeke respect and also not wanting to hurt his market value.

Don’t listen to what the Cowboys say. Look at what they do.

Spears or Miller over Schoonmaker.

Pitt kid over Fehoko.

Evans over Vaughn.
I take MIller over Spears.

Also, I would have agreed with you on Evans but he went undrafted. After reviewing Vaughn, we stole him, imo.

There basically 2 types of RBs in this draft after Bijan.
- Bigger (210+) types that might become workhorse backs (Charbonnet, Miller, etc..).
- Smaller backs with dynamic athleticism but that would need a limited workload (Achane, etc..).

A back like Miller (215) could potentially replace Pollard in 2024.

A back like Achane (188) regardless of rookie success, likely wouldn't be an option to become the lead (workhorse) back.

I think they would have strongly considered Miller if he had been available at #90.

They likely didn't see a big difference between Deuce and the other smallish backs.

I am a big fan of Miller for obvious reasons...I'm telling you Deuce is just as productive and actually injured much less often than Miller.

Btw heard on the radio that Fehoko likes to go by Junior. Just FYI for an easy of what to call him

I hope you are right, brother!
