He needs to spend time watching Brady check down to backs. He gets it to them quick and they actually have time to make a play.
Brady is also very good at leading his receivers on the screen pass so they are already moving forward at the catch. Dak is pretty bad at it.

Part of the problem is our qb the part is they use the wrong rb for it zekes is so over rated outside of blocking

kellen has blame as well
LOL......
Pretty good summary. Don't forget the one where Zeke has to run back towards the QB to get the errant pass and then somehow try and turn back up field.. as he is met by the 3 defenders that saw the play coming from the snap. SO fun.

Or the one Zeke (or Pollard or whomever is out there) has to bend down to scoop it off the turf down around their knees.. and they manage to do it (hello mr completion Dak) but then has no time to run before they are crunched (hard) by the defence.
Asking zeke to catch those wild passes and make something of it...IS pretty silly. Zeke is a big boy...not meant for circus catches.

It doesn;t mean he's ineffective in the passing game. In fact...if you throw him open and let him get some steam before the catch...he's deadly and has proven it.

Yep, you're right...not Zeke 2016 deadly but *** was?

Stop making him bend down or jump up and throw him open.

Crazy right?

It's almost like i don't fixate on a single play and make it more than it is....

No .....almost almost like I know what you are going to say about Dak,,,EVERY....SINGLE...TIME.

Except not "almost".

You're as bad as you think Kahlidi is....You know what he is gonna say don;t you? Welll same at you. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Cavanaugh was losing his mind on the air earlier over these stats.

So not only are we running Zeke up the middle into a pile of men every running play, but we are also getting the worst production out of RBs when we throw them the ball as well?

Yikes, Kellen (and Philbin).

Day late and a dollar short, like why did we even bother signing Ito Smith back at week 9, and not even taking a peek?
Like having a worthy Clement not even given an opportunity to display beyond STs duty, when he displays in limited looks ability?

We rarely throw downfield to them and Dak takes too long to check it down. The RB is close to the sidelines waiting for the bailout and the defense converges on them when the ball is in the air.

He also puts the ball in bad positions which makes them adjust to catch the ball too often. Several times Zeke could have scored near the goal line on a pass but the ball was behind instead of in front and the defender was able to make the stop.

Dak needs to do a better job getting them the ball quicker and put the ball in a better spot more often.

Zeke not what he was in 2016 but Moore really doesn’t know how to scheme the RBs in his offense
How long is Moores' leash should be the question.
Maybe Moore has been dialed back but we get the allegations on this forum that it has to be Moore just not designing game plans.
Maybe Moore has been conservative, dialed back, he should have opened it up, but maybe he knew he was working with limitations.
Moore wasnt going to elevate Daks game and Dak wasnt going to allow Moore an opportunity this late in the season to elevate his game, by design.
Dak already had his hands full just trying to figure out how to drop a ball into a soft 2 deep zone, with no running game.
Denver did that.\
Whos fault was that on counter..
Dak, Moore,, tired of all the excuses, bottom line is if you are a leader you overcome and defeat and overcome the obstacle.
This team had no answer.

Looks like Pop Warner , ugly. Maybe if they would call the play to the running back instead of a check down it would look better. They could at least try and set up blocking if it was a called play.

so what is epa and wpa ??? would help to define those.

Kellen isnt into RB's he just works on his passing game to wr and te's thats it, that is his priority.

This QB hurts everyone on offense.

1. Can't move in the pocket
2. Throws ball late and inaccurately to RB and WR

Part of the problem is Zeke isn't talented enough as a pass catcher to make up for daks inaccurate check downs.

It's the OC. Even JG n Linehan tried every now and then to weaponize a RB...Lance Dunbar and Rod Smith made plays receiving but Pollard, who was a WR, isn't getting the opportunity smh. Pollard should have schemed pass plays. Also, the Cowboys should have 3 RBs that can tote the mail, and never play a hurt RB over a healthy RB, again.
