I actually like this. Milton is the type who will fold against challenging teams. Sam is the type that will scrap it out in a battle regardless who it is. In a battle, sam may have something like 2-3 int, but will also have 4-5 TD in the same game. Milton wont give you that. Sam has some of that vintage Kirk Cousins dawg in him. I like the move.

Why is Dak here then? 7-9-1 with all the cap money he eats up. A young QB with a stacked team is how you win sustainably. "Win now"?

This franchise is a jok

This franchise is a joke.
every franchise pays their quarterback. Dak is the highest because of timing. He's a top ten QB by everyone's measure except zoner soreheads. if you haven't figured out the cost of business in the NFL you ought to watch contract negotiations around the NFL.

There is a rumor, according to Broaddus, that Milton asked the Cowboys for a release.

We'll see if that's true.
Is that Broaddus, or is he just parroting the rumor that's going around. Did he give a source or even take credit for it?

Dak is the highest because he wants to control the timing. He can't be franchised. And he doesn't want to be a team friendly player and sign a long-term deal. The main sticking point on Dak's contract negotiations has not been money per se...it's the years. #4 will be back at the trough next year demanding MORE MONEY and he's already been the highest paid for the last 2 years! None of this was an accident...it's Dak and Dak's agents strategy.

Tell the whole story.

Sam has thrown for just one TD in eight of his 13 games. Two more games he had two and has only thrown four once. He is not some highlight reel and his TD’s were the same number as interceptions.

Wolchuk actually guessed it and then claimed he got texts from sources saying he was right. Broaddus just said it was possible.

Just heard on 105.3 he was released??

Bit of a surprise.

But not really.

He is 26. And still has a ways to go. No.upside and staff did t trust him to be primary backup.
by the time he gets in, gets reps, maybe learns, maybe doesn't he will be 29...not an age you want a new QB to build around
