I heard broaddus on the fan earlier saying the staff really liked hamilton and he thought he would get a crack at playing the 1 tech here.

My own reasoning was that the team isn't strong at DT, but is overstocked at receiver (7).

Yeah but those receivers can actually play. Those DTs are suspect and Hamilton was the most suspect.
