If the report is true, the timing is strange, to say the least.

Free agency started last week. The pool of available wide receivers is shrinking. Why now instead of last week?

Not to mention that the waiver wire closed eight hours ago. If Owens was on it, I'm sure it would have leaked out before now. If he wasn't, then he can't be released until tomorrow.

as much as I hated TO before he came to Dallas.....I grew to like him....not so much his catching the ball, but his hustle and blocking for teammates. He seemed to be a real team player for us for the most part.

I just hate cutting him and having to eat the cap hit.

I agree, I wasn't a fan before he came but he could play. He didn't catch the ball well but he scored TD's and he was entertaining. I bet the skins sign him.
